OMG! This is timeless. Alan Prices keyboard work is matched only by Eric's amazing vocals. Little Richard called The Animals the greatest band hed ever heard.

1964. 16 years before I was born. Yet iconic and still played even to this day. One of my favorite songs ever. So much heart and soul. I've been alive for almost 41 years and I'll never get tired of this song.

Just a classic old folk song written by an unknown author. First time I heard this was at a drive-in movie in 1965. One of the best songs ever written!

I have that scenario, but in reverse. In both ways. Johnny Cash's version of NIN's "Hurt". I know I will get a lot of flak for saying it, but Johnny Cash made that song his own. His version is my fav. Not to say a billion times more people would or should agree with me. But Johnny Cash's darkness, seems to be a shade darker than Trent could deliver. And I know the reason why..

Eric Burdons voice is incredible, he looks about 12 but he belts out the lyrics like he is just chatting normally. I know he is miming here but still its incredible. Chaz Chandler on the bass, the guy that got Jimi Hendrix a record contract and brought together the jimi Hendrix experience.
