@ Right! Oh, meant to ask you, have you propagated Jabo off the sprouts that come off the bottom of the tree or root structure. My tree started leaning and now has a bunch of those at its base.

Same issue here with my Butterscotch. Going on four years old and has never set fruit despite continuously flowering. I have several different varieties in close proximity with fruit so cross pollination doesn't seem to be making any difference as of yet. I have heard several other growers say that with maturity it will gradually start setting fruit. I visit a local nursery that has several older butterscotch in the ground yet I never see many fruits on them. A few here and there but definitely nothing compared to other varieties. I'm giving mine another year or two before I dig it up any give it away. I'm limited on space so from personal experience and many on the internet saying the same it's looking like my butterscotch is not worth the hype. Unfortunate, because they are damn good!

I also have a Butterscotch tree that is 6 years old and has made only one fruit despite constantly flowering. I’m thinking about chopping it.

I know the feeling. So many people reporting the same issue. I also am on the verge of cutting it down. First I want to taste the fruit and do another video to discuss with everyone. Thanks for stopping by Joe.

Sadly never kept a sapodilla alive here in the uk, they just hate the winter period indoors 🤪

😔 Did you grow it in a green house?

@Pepesplants I don't have a greenhouse, they spend summer outdoors and come into my house or garden shed in winter, but they just never get growing here , I guess our summers are also too cool to stimulate growth
