I understand that a call can be very expensive per hour, it would have been a quick clean up to toss all the debris in the car before the lift. I love the extra you put in your videos by using the drone, it gives a whole new perspective to the process, that with the multiple views, you capture all points of a lift. Thanks for the great content which is a true testament to you and your crew!!!

Back in 2014 I had a new Jeep Cherokee lose control in front of me on a bridge approach near Oxnard, CA. It went through the guard rail, took off then rolled down the embankment to the rail line and the young lady pretty much walked away. CHP just shrugged their shoulders at my amazement and said “That’s new cars for you”.
@Fix_It_Again_Tony3 жыл бұрын
I agree. They achieved increased safety with less metal. Think about the weight of old cars vs new. They removed metal from areas it wasn't needed, added crumple zones to absorb energy and strengthened the safety cage around the occupants. Now the deformation happens in a more controlled and predictable way. Extensive crash testing, computer modeling and safety standards all combine to reduce crash fatalities. Automakers are continuing to improve safety by utilizing high strength steel and carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Aluminum is also being used to reduce weight where strength is not as important.

The content of the recoveries is great, and the videography is superb. I always look forward to watching when one of your videos pops up in my notifications. Great work!!!!
@michaelrocker90003 жыл бұрын
Don't go knocking Trent at Plaza. No two recoveries are alike. They both do great jobs. Matter of fact if you saw the the video Josh did on a long distance call where it was a joint effort with Plaza it was Darl who took the lead and Josh was really appreciative of how there was teamwork when they never worked a job together before. Not for nothing if you want to see some good videos go to the Sumter Wrecker channel. He only has wreckers and flatbeds. No rotators.

@@PepesTowingService I wasn't suggesting there was a competition. Just making the observation that I had previously assumed that your channel was the larger of the two, and that I was surprised to learn otherwise. I like your content better than Ron's or Trent's because the recoveries are much more unique and interesting. More importantly, your presentation and videography have drastically risen above the rest since the first video of yours I once watched (probably mustang off a cliff). To repeat what I said above, I like your channel and always look forward to watching when I see them pop up in my notifications.

As a former Tow Truck Operator in that area, I watched my partner get the jack handle torn out of his hand by a pickup truck right at the same spot (RIGHT where the guard rail is damaged!) and the jack sent spinning across the freeway lanes in heavy morning traffic and heavy rain. We were changing the flat left rear tire of a station wagon full of kids (7 kids) being taken to a private school by the mom of one of them. I was climbing into the back of the car to get out the spare tire at the time. But one thing where I see you have failed here. That is that you should have cleaned up all the debris from the car out of the riverbed. I was taught to always clean up before leaving the scene. In this case, I might have not swept all the glass up.
