I've been on a bit of a nostalgia kick now that the show has ended, going back, listening to old songs and the like. It's really bittersweet, to be honest. I haven't been a brony since season 4, but the impact this show had on me in my preteen/early teen years still holds strong. I sometimes regret it, but all in all it wasn't that bad. It brought me quite a bit of happiness. I often find myself wondering if I'd be a happier person had I stuck around with the show. I used to have my old iPod filled to the brim with pony songs, both from the show, and fanmade like this one. I think "Reflection Mix" fits this quite well, especially for those of us that were here quite early on that wound up jumping ship. I get an absolutely raw form of nostalgia listening to this song. Anyway, enough of my god awful ramblings. Hope you guys have a good one. /)

I usually dont put comments on videos, but this song reminds me of a dear friend of mine. I used to think that bronies were lame old men who had no life until my 6 year old god daughter sat me down and forced (by force i mean she sat on my lap and made me watch MLP) all 3 seasons (all there was at the time) of mlp. It became a ritual for us. Every time uncle came over, we watched MLP. She passed on last month in a car accident and i havent been myself at all. I lost my job due to unproductivity, my fiance left me cause i wasnt there, and my life hasnt been the same. A few days ago i found this song and every since, my life has turned arpund. I feel complete not just because of this song, but when i hear it, i can hear my god daughter laughing. I can see her smile, and laugh at the jokes on MLP. Thank you whom ever made this song. U dont realize the joy it brings into peoples lives. And for those of you that bash on Bronies, its a way of life. Some of us watch it because it reminds us of better days. #BRONYSWAG !!

Somehow, there's something that keeps me awake at night, way past when I should be asleep and recuperating. The brony community was - no, is one of the best communities anyone could ever hope for. So many people who would otherwise be depressed, beat down, restless in life joined together to create a level of - dare I say it - friendship that is almost impossible to find anywhere else. I wish that I could have seen the community in 2011 or 2012 when it was so much bigger. But then, how many of those people were just in it for the popularity? I cannot speak for others, but I am in the community because I love the show and I love the community. One day, I might have to move on. One day, I might want to move on. One day, though, I might wake up to find the first episode of the next generation of ponies. And, all the bronies in 2011 came back to the new show, and the next generation - the ones too young to understand now but that will grow to know the next show, will join us. The new ponies will be special in their own way. But, these ponies, the ones that created the community, and the people behind the animation, the acting, even the ideas, will themselves hold a special place in my heart, and they will as long as I live.

Welp. Season 9 is the final season. This generation is coming to a close, and comes a new one. All the memories we made during this generation will stay with us forever. All the friends and people and events we encountered, will always be with us. I'm scared of what's to come, but also excited. We'll just have to see. This song years ago, back in 2015. Hit me in the feels really hard. Now in 2019, this song demolishes me. I loved this show, I loved the characters, I loved everything. School is hard. I became a brony when I saw this song on the brony chronicles. This tore me to tears. I still cry when I watch this, almost as much as My Little Dashie. I don't listen to it a lot, so when I do, I cherish every moment of it. I will show this to my kids along with the MLP series. Sheesh, it's been a while since I've stood here, listening to songs about colorful, talking ponies. And here I thought, even with all my new invested hobbies and interests, I had moved on from this little corner of madness and acceptance. But as I revisit the old stomping grounds, looking back at the prime days of the fandom circa 2015, there's a nostalgia that cannot, and has not, been replaced. I'm taken back to my days in high school, reading up on all the new and exciting things happening in the fandom every morning on EquestriaDaily before shoving off for school. I remember eagerly awaiting new art and music from some of the fandoms most talented people and compiling it all on my 5th Gen iPod Touch. That poor iPod, it never stood a chance against this technicolored wave of just...happiness. I'm not gonna lie, life has been stressful since I left the fandom in 2017. It's only natural, as is all things in life, but nothing I've put my time into has quite activated those neurons of happiness. Yet as I walk down this old, beaten road, I can literally feel the endorphins and nostalgia kicking in, and it feels refreshing. It feels like a part of me has been rediscovered, but I don't know quite what to call it. Comfort? That's probably the best word for it. I wonder where this trip down this path will take me, what I will see, remember, and feel. I guess only time will tell.

ah....the good ol times. now that we have all grew up and remembered hearing this gives you the chills. some friendships broke and some are created. But in the end this song gave us the best feeling in the fandom when looking back. the show ended in 2019 but hell we'll make it live.

My god this show and fandom gives me this joyful and happy feeling everytime I watch it and I haven't felt that since my childhood and it gives me a big enough ray of hope to stay determined in a negative world... I may say I moved on later on in my life, but I will always be a brony for the impact this show and community has had on my teen hood as I've watched it since I was 14 and I'm 17 now. This show has literally helped change my perspective on my life to a positive outlook and has made me grateful for all the friends and family members I have in my life. It feels almost like a blessing from God considering the sudden impact this had. Thank you Lauren Faust and all the staff and bronies here.

I don't know why, but in the years I have been a part of this fandom, I haven't ever heard of this song. Nobody has ever told me about it and I wasn't personally a part of the fandom until 2014. I just listened to it and I was literally hit with a wave of emotion 0-0 That sent chills up my spine it was so good. when people say this song represents the fandom, it REALLY does. My sister asked what I was listening to and why it was making me look the way I was so i let her listen to it. She said it was such an upbeat and normal song and asked why I'm making such a big deal out of it. What she doesn't know is that this song is part of the best fandom I could ever ask to be a part of. My little pony has been the biggest part of my life for YEARS. And just listening to this song reminds me of why I spend countless hours up at night talking to friends I have made through it, Why I spend countless hours drawing, voice acting, and committing to this fandom. But the best part about the fandom is the people in it. We're always willing to make new friends, we're kind, loyal, honest, generous, and we laugh which creates the magic of this fandom. And this song... this song represents that.
