Today I’m going to talk to you about peppermint essential oil and it’s numerous benefits and uses. There are over 1000 medical studies alone on peppermint essential oil that prove it helps your digestive track, improves breath, and fights cancer. What makes peppermint so powerful is the compound in it called menthol, which helps reduce inflammation and acts as an antioxidant.
One of the most common ways peppermint oil is used is as a breath freshener in toothpaste. Other ways it’s used is as a mouthwash, as an energy booster, to help IBS and leaky gut issues, to open airways for allergies, asthma, or bronchitis, and to ease headaches. For more on peppermint oil, you can check out my article here: draxe.com/peppe...

I use peppermint oil Everyday. I keep in my handbag and one on the nightstand. I use on my forehead for calming my nerves in traffic, when I have a headache 🤕. Put it by my nostrils with deep breathing. Especially before bed helps relax and get good sleep. I drink as a tea. Thank you dr Axe🙏🏻

I have been using the homemade tooth paste, the peppermint and water mouthwash, I put peppermint in my tea and my smoothies. I have been doing it for years and I am healthier. I have asthma, IBS, and other digestive problems, I have not been hospitalized in over a year. I say it works and it is okay.

@@KSandy-iy6fg Make sure it is organic. Dr. Axe also sells a "Dietary Supplement" version. It is more expensive because he had to pay for the labeling certification process. I am a big fan of and have done a great deal of research on essential oils. As long as you buy "organic" versions, make sure it is cold pressed or expeller processed (not extracted by chemical distillation) it is totally safe to ingest! After all, it is nothing more than a plant given to us by mother nature herself! Much safer than those petrol chemical poisons big pharma and the medical industry peddles!! Also look for "Therapeutic Grade" when purchasing. If it's not safe to ingest, it's not safe to apply to the skin, which is after all, our largest organ.

I'll just rub this all over myself! So I did. I woke up with a very weird, crampy belly, was cold and miserable while sitting in the bathroom for a long while. PEPPERMINT OIL is my go-to Lifesaver for chronic migraines (that I've had since the age of 5!?!) So I apply the oil directly to where the migraine pain is coming from (which actually is in unknown reason of a hole in my skull on the left side of my head that is medically unexplainable and not supposed to be there!!!) But it seriously helps so much by relaxing and numbing that area and the area around it - and also helps with the nausea that goes hand-in-hand with chronic migraines (as I normally get physically sick due to the severe pain!!!) So I am careful where I directly Place pure oils on my body, and have experienced skin irritations - like on my face, but as far as on my head - like under my hair it is a God sent Miracle of Mother Nature!!!

A couple weeks ago I just could not stand the pain so I went to a health good store and bought almond oil and peppermint oil as well we lemongrass oil. I went home and first rubbed some almond oil on my arms and then put 3 or 4 drops of peppermint oil and rubbed it into my sore muscles. Circular motions (you can youtube how to safely rub your own arms) I spent at least 5 mins on each arm and honest to God they felt better the next day and still feel better than they did. I would say make this a routine once a week to keep up the results. I had my husband do the same on my back and it helped immensely on my back as well! You are so Right Dr Axe. I've been studying, using essential oils now for aprox a year and the Results are amazing of a lot of Oil's and Peppermint being one of Many!!! Just wish I'd realized a lot sooner might could of helped my Mother to prevent Cancer now for the 3rd time unfortunately due too all the bad Chemicals and thing's used in Our Everday lives that this world has been so unaware of. Thank You for some additional information you have just given me & I look forward to trying. Just placing an order for Peppermint, Lavender, Bergamot, & Cedarwood currently. Thank You again for confirming some information & some new. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!

Hi, sorry about your mum's situ. Just to let you know even if all else fails, Jesus can heal her of this if you / she is willing to choose to believe. Please check out a church called UCKG Helpcentre (or Universal Church). There is a young pregnant woman whose testimony I watched with my own eyes who a few years ago was given a couple of weeks / months to live by doctors after she contracted the disease from her boyfriend. They wanted to remove her baby as they did not believe she could bring it to term. Anyway, long story short, the church taught her how to use her faith in God to receive total healing and 7 years later not only is she NOT dead but her child came out healthy and virus free and the virus was not found in her system any longer to the perplexation of doctors. I know this might sound crazy and now doubt the anti-christs will jump on me for reaching out to you but I'll take the chance anyway because you deserve the opportunity. I'm based in London but feel free to message me if you want and we can talk more. God bless you.

Most well known reputable essential oil brands are obviously not labeled as "Food Grade" or for "Internal use" and even say "not for internal use" Can I still add a single drop of Peppermint essential oil or Lavender in my herbal tea? I like to add Raw honey or squeezed lemon sometimes. I also use the Now Foods Brand.

Doctor Axe, I have a serious question for you that I haven't been able to solve on my own or find answers to. When I went to the store I found honey with clover in it (not the actual clover seen with the naked eye.) And when I put that honey in a warm cup of Green Tea (organic and no caffeine.) I vomited on 2 separate occasions. An allergies test was done and I have no food allergies whatsoever. So, why did this happen and what does this mean? Thank you so much, Jennifer

@JoseRivera-fm5fo
@JoseRivera-fm5fo 7 жыл бұрын
Ronnie Pilgrim not true, but they have to say that to avoid any lawsuits... Because if you take to much it can be dangerous... But as the doc says here one drop is enough and if you mix it with more things like the tooth paste then you can use more because you are diluting it.
