Rosetail teases thrushpelt about his crush and bluefur is oblivious 0:19​ blue n thrush bein good friends…..best friends.. 0:22​ kinda a representation of bluefur passing by Thunderclan cats that she could have taken for a mate, but she instead chooses to be with oakheart from riverclan. Thrushpelt is bummed (since this scene is more symbolic, i dont think thrushpelt actually knows who bluefur is mates with, all he knows is that it’s not him) 0:26​ more best friend vibes 0:34​ rosetail teases bluefur abt thrushpelt’s obvious crush on her. Blue feels embarrassed and a lil guilty 0:42​ blue and thrush are on a nice walk! But blue is too wrapped up in her own thoughts between oakheart and thistleclaw and starclan’s prophecy on her shoulders… goosefeather gazes at her knowingly. Thrushpelt knows /something/ is up but what can he do? :( worried lad 0:58​ blue tells thrush abt her kits she had with an unknown father. Thrushpelt offers to be a foster father if that would make it easier for her, the kits, and the clan to believe he was the father. Blue feels grateful but guilty abt not bein able to tell him the truth and sad that oak cant raise the kits with her 1:14​ fun times with the kits!! 1:22​ lil timeskip to leafbare, thrushpelt settles to sleep in the warriors den (bluefur’s anxiety goes unnoticed…) 1:29​ dream sequence time ! thrushpelt dreams of some alternate reality where bluefur does reciprocate his feelings for her. They raise the kits as their biological parents (heyhey fun detail!! All of the features the kits inherited from oakheart are replaced with features that thrushpelt has 👀👀) 1:44​ The dream takes on a colder tone. Bluefur takes no time to spend with thrushpelt, and thrushpelt cries out his heartbreak 1:50​ Thrushpelt wakes, feeling guilty about his dream-outburst and does his best to shake it off. Meanwhile, something’s happened with bluefur….... Oblivious, thrushpelt settles his emotions and reminds himself that bein her friend is vv lovely and goes to bring her and the kits some freshkill 2:09​ but when he arrives at the nursery all he finds is a heartbroken bluefur, no kits, and a hole torn through the nursery wall as if a fox had broken in during the night. 2:15​ thunderclan searches for the kits, but to no avail. Bluefur has been very quiet the whole time and at last breaks down by thrushpelt’s side. Only she knows where she took her two surviving kits last night; to oakheart in riverclan. 2:28​ not too long after, blue is named as deputy. Thistleclaw seethes with anger 2:32​ time skip to when bluestar is the new leader of thunderclan! Thrushpelt is v proud of her !! but despite her new role in the clan she’s still good friends with thrushpelt !!! I mean she's an Okay character, I just don't like the fact that the Erin's keep on trying to justify her actions when they don't really have to (cough cough Spottedleaf's Heart etc, I mean everyone already knew that Thistle was bad, we didn't need more) after her own Super Edition. It kind of makes me not like her character more... You know. The way she treated Thrushpelt too was sad, he wasn't even a nuisance like Ashfur or dare I say Bumblestripe. If there's an AU that might be interesting, I think it would be one where Thrushpelt finds out what Bluefur did and tells the Clans about the identity of her kits. That would have changed the series for sure. Tbh what Bluefur did was so risky, she very well could have been caught (I'm surprised that no one questioned the lack of blood or fox scent either), it even cost her the life of one of her kits. You can't tell me that no one recognized her kits at the gathering either. I mean both Mistyfoot and Stonefur look exactly like her. In all honesty Sunstar knew that Thistleclaw wouldn't have made the greatest deputy (even agreeing with Bluefur on this point a couple of times), he probably would have waited to make Bluefur deputy or someone else. Starclan would have probably given him a sign too. I mean Bluefur was closer to Sunstar then Thistleclaw was by a mile anyways.

I love how Bluefur's face after giving up her kits was illustrated.The way that the grief and guilt and sadness weighs so heavy on her and instead of sobbing she just lets the tears rain down. That stuck with me personally as I have been feeling similar recently. I also love the portrayal of Thrushpelt playing with the kits and desperately searching for them, devastated. I feel like the book glosses over that fact too quickly. This AMV Brought to light all the quiet support and positivity Thrushpelt brings and handles his character flawlessly.

Thrushpelt is a short king who stands out in a sea of toxic male characters in the series. He gave his life loving and respecting everyone around them, covered for them when needed, not just Bluefur. He was hurt, but he accepted when his apprentice Spottedpaw became a medicine cat without question or complaining. He was a great temporary mentor to Goldenpaw. He stuck up for Bluefur when Sunstar was worried about her and questioned her loyalty to her clan compared to her kits. He didn't even question Bluefur when she needed him the most to lie about who her kits were. And I don't doubt he spent the rest of his life grieving over the loss of them. Never once does he complain when turned down, or when his apprentice changes paths in life. Just pure love, acceptance and support. He was such a memorable cat, a true breath of fresh air for the series. I'd say he'd need his own spinoff story but im sure the Erins would ruin him somehow... Thank you for making this video, it's brought me such joy to see my favourite Warrior in such a perfect AMV

I love the the detail of Trushpelt's and Bluefur's eyes. How Trushpelt's one desire is love symbolised by the hearts, while Bluefur's is the leadership position symbolised by the stars. I really like the part at 1:45 where Thushpelt is obviously getting frustrated and upset. This isn't bad in any way, its natural to feel upset and hurt by unreciprocated feeling. Its what Thushpelt does next that I adore, he doesn't abandon Bluestar, or be mean to her or demand a relationship ((or threaten to kill her kits to make her suffer like a certain someone)). He keeps being her friend and supporting her and loving her even though he knows she doesn't feel the same. That to me is true love, it is support and kindness and putting others before yourself. This is a gorgeous video and is honestly my favorite AMV I've seen

I love the detail in the eyes. Bluestar has a star for her destiny in being leader, and thrush pelt has the hearts, which broke in half the first scene where Bluestar butted heads with Oakheart. Its so sweetly painful :,)

Thrushpelt is honestly what Ashfur should have been. They were two characters placed in extremely similar scenarios who reacted in completely different ways. (Foil characters I think?) It really shows just how amazing of a cat Thrushpelt was, and shows what Ashfur could have been if he didn’t go off the deep end. Now I want some AU to be written where Thrushpelt watches over Ashfur from Starclan and tries to help him live with knowing that Squirrelflight won’t love him back. Thrushpelt could have been such a good influence on Ashfur!

I don't really blame Appledusk for being angry at her but going behind her back and becoming mates with Reedshine was awful. Frecklewish had a right not to help, the kits were in the middle of a river that was flooding and in a storm and she never meant them ill will. Ravenwing also had a right to be angry because he knew that Appledusk had killed two of his clanmates, though he had shown confusion and guilt when he learned the kits had died, same with Frecklewish. Insanity is not a valid excuse to kill people, intrusive thoughts aren't a valid excuse to kill people, they don't justify what she did, it's just what caused it. Her idiocy, insanity and selfishness to try and make sure that the world knew that Appledusk was her's both left to the death of her three kits and the deaths of three cats who in no way shape or form deserved it (maybe Appledusk if you want to stretch it.) If anything she should have gone after Oakstar, he acted with nepotism and anger and was the one who really put her kits in danger.

Okay, first of all (I deeply regret not seeing this on Valentines day!) while I have seen quite a few Thrushpelt things over the years, I've gotta say this has immediately become my favorite! So much shown in this didn't quite happen in the books, but the way you visually told the story with clear designs painted out what you were trying to show and tell us all clearly, and I adore that! I especially adore the dream AU of them having kits together, and the ending credits where you showed him with Mosskit watching her mother as well as Mistyfoot and Stonefur growing up! (Heck, I even recognized that the dream was some alternate reality even before checking the definition to see if I was right, that's how clear it was!) Let's not forget to mention the small details in their eyes, how Thushpelt almost always has hearts for eyes while Bluefur has stars in her eyes as a reference to her future, but both become broken hearts over the loss of her kits when she gives them up/the clan thinks they were taken away and eaten. ;3; Thank you so much for making this and letting us all see it, it's a great way to show that love doesn't always have to be romantic and can still prevail no matter what. Thrushpelt always showed true love by loving Bluefur/star, even if she didn't love him romantically back, and just because her kits weren't his, didn't mean he didn't love them any less. You show this so well and I really wish this was canon. They could have done so much more than Bluefur hardly acknowledging him until she needed a tom to fall back on and claim as a Thunderclan father. I will be returning to watch this constantly, even many, many months past Valentines day, just because it's so adorable and heartfelt.

I can't help but imagine Thrushpelt with an American accent, Bluestar with an English accent, and Firestar with an American accent. I think RiverClan cats have Canadian accents, ThunderClan cats have mostly English accents, SkyClan cats have slight Irish accents, ShadowClan cats have a mix of American and English, WindClan has English accents, and most Kittypets have American accents (Jake, Firestar, Princess). There were so many great parts, the head pops of the kittens to the beat of the song, Thrushpelts little tantrum of sadness! And I just can't get over the amount of times you just show them hanging out, and just chatting with each other! The choice to be lineless works very well, and as usual, your animation is so crisp and clean. Amazing video!!

This is by far one of my favorite MV's. You really expressed how Thrushpelt was there to support Bluefur, even though she didn't return his feelings. These two would have been a good pair, but I like seeing how even though it didn't work out, Bluefur relied on him to keep her secret. Respect for Thrushpelt for not taking his rejection too seriously.

My favorite part of this PMV is when he envisions what he wants it slowly turns pink, like he's looking through rose-tinted glasses and has to take them off to accept that Bluefur just isn't into him--and he does. And we love him for that.

1:31 i love how in this scene, blue stars eyes are actually all hearts and no stars, saying that she has the same feelings and goals as thrush pelt, and bluestar is not set on being a leader but being a mate and mother. but its a dream or a vision he has.
