Another note on taunting: It stops you while mach running, but will continue at the same speed once it's done. Very nice if you need to stop for half a second (like waiting for the thunder clouds in Oregano Desert) but still keep up momentum. Also, I am like... 99% sure that while taunting, your hitbox is slightly larger during the parry frames. Often times while I fought Fake Peppino in the super jump phase, I can stand in the right place and never be hit, but if I taunt, it almost always parries even when I didn't need to.

fun fact: the piledrive launch (as i like to call it) can hit pizzaface and sometimes even hit him with the piledriver so the life gets taken out as well. Also a tactic for the pizza face bossfight is when the noise is about to land on the top of the tower you can hit him for some reason

some other quirks: the distance of the long jump is affected by how fast you're moving before you jump. this is because your speed is transferred to the grab you must do before jumping you can press down while in the air with the firemouth transformation to instantly and quickly descend you can hold either forwards or backwards while rolling with the ball transformation to go faster or slower respectively the flying uppercut gives you a little more height if you kill an enemy near the end of your ascent (this one I'm not so sure about. it looks to be that way but I haven't been able to recreate it a whole bunch) you can cancel the impact animation from falling a long distance in the normal falling state (not the ground pound or dive drop) by grabbing right before hitting the ground

You gain extra height in general if you kill an enemy while holding the jump button. its not exclusively when you are doing an uppercut.

Two notes on taunting and parrying: When running, taunting can stop your momentum for a while for more reaction time. After the taunt animation is done, your speed and the direction you were running to continues. as for the note on parrying: The parry timing is not difficult. Just hit taunt and if an attack is near or inside the white flash that appears on the taunt animation, then you got a parry.
