Permaculture is the way of design which mimic the nature to create a food forest and establish connection between different elements like soil, water,animals, wildlife and so on; Miyawaki method just focus on creating an artificial forest

I really love the concept of permaculture.Perma culture can make one self sufficient, but in a country like India with food shortages will this system make surplus amount of food so that food needs of even the poorest can be met. In such situations scientific methods aiming more productivity rather than a balanced system of agriculture may be a real need I think.

ഞാൻ ഒരു പ്രവാസിയാണ് ,തിരിച്ച് വന്നുള്ള അതിജീവനത്തെപറ്റി കുറച്ചുകാലമായി ആലോചിക്കുന്നു,അപ്പോഴാണ് പെർമാകൾച്ചറിനെയും പറ്റി ചിന്തിച്ചതും അറിയാൻശ്രമിച്ചതും.ഇത് ന്യുതനമായ ക്രിഷിരീതിയായി പാശ്ചാത്യർ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുമബോൾ ,യധാർധത്തിൽ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നിലനിന്നിരുന്ന ക്രിഷിരീതി തന്നെയായിരുന്നു ഇന്നത്തെ permaculture. “ഋഷി ക്രിഷീ “ എന്നായിരുന്നു വേദന്ഗളിലും മറ്റും അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നത്.Natural farming എന്ന് ഇപ്പൊൾ വിളിക്കപെടുന്ന രിതിയും permacultre രീതിയും organic farming രീതികളും എല്ലാം ഭാരതത്തിൽ നിലനിന്ന് പൊന്നിരുന്ന ‘“ഋഷി ക്രിഷിയിൽ” ഉൾപെടും. പിന്നീടുവന്ന പാശ്ചാത്യർകൊണ്ടുവന്ന monocrope സംവിധാനമാണ് ഈ രീതികളെയെല്ലാം തച്ചുടച്ചത് . നമുക്ക് ഇരീതികളിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചുപോകേണ്ട സമയമായിരുക്കുന്ന്.Sustainable income with minimal investment ,എന്കിൽ മാത്രമേ ക്രിഷി ലാഭകരവും,ആരോഗ്യകരവുംആകൂ.

താങ്കൾ പറഞ്ഞതു ശ രിയാണ്. ഭാരതത്തിൽ മാത്രമല്ല, പൗരസ്ത്യ ദേശങ്ങളിലെ പൊതുവായ ഫിലോസോഫി ആയിരുന്നു കൃഷി രീതികളുടെയും അടിസ്ഥാനം. ജപ്പാൻ തന്നെ ഉദാഹരണം. മരിച്ച ആളുകളുടെ ഓർമ്മക്കായി നമ്മുടെ സർപ്പക്കാവുകളുടെ മാതൃകയിൽ അവിടെ കാട് വെക്കുമായിരുന്നു. ചിഞ്ചു നോ മോറി എന്നാണത്തിന് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നത്. പാശ്ചാത്യ നാടുകളിലെ വ്യവസായ വത്കരണവും, പരമാവധി ലാഭം എന്ന ആശയവുമാണ് ഇതിനെയൊക്കെ ആട്ടി മറിച്ചതെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു.

നമസ്കാരം സർ.. ഒരു അഭിപ്രായം അറിയാനാണ്. ഇന്നത്തെ കേരള കൗമുദി ദിനപത്രത്തിൽ ഒരു വാർത്ത കണ്ടു. സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ജനവാസമേഖലകളിലേക്കു കാട്ടാനകൾ ഇറങ്ങിവരുന്നത് തടയാൻ, ഇന്ത്യയിലാദ്യമായി, കേരളത്തിലെ വനാതിർത്തികളിൽ കരിമ്പനകൾ കൊണ്ടുള്ള ജൈവമതിൽ നിർമ്മിക്കാൻ പോകുന്നു എന്ന്. അതിന്റെ ആദ്യപടിയെന്നോണം കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ലയിൽ പരീക്ഷണാടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ 1000 കിലോമീറ്റർ നീളത്തിൽ നാല് വരികളിലായി കരിമ്പനകൾ വച്ചുപിടിപ്പിക്കാനാണ് ഫോറസ്ററ് അധികൃതരുടെ തീരുമാനം. ഇത് വളരെ നല്ലൊരു കാര്യമായി തോന്നി. എന്റെ സംശയം ഇതാണ്. ഇവിടെ ഈ കരിമ്പനകൾ പൂർണ്ണവളർച്ചയെത്താൻ ഏതാണ്ട് 5 വർഷമാണ് പറയുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ ഇത്‌ മിയാവാക്കി സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് വച്ചുപിടിപ്പിച്ചാൽ ഇതിനേക്കാൾ വേഗത്തിൽ ഇവയുടെ വളർച്ച സാധ്യമാകുമോ? കേരളത്തിലെ വനാതിർത്തികളിൽ ഇതുപോലെത്തന്നെയുള്ള കരിമ്പനകളോ ആനകൾക്ക് പിഴുതുമറിക്കാനാവാത്ത തരത്തിലുള്ള മറ്റു വന്മരങ്ങളോ ഇടവിടാതെ ഒരു മീറ്റർ ക്യൂബിൽ നാലെന്ന കണക്കിൽ ഒരു ജൈവ മതിൽ പോലെ തന്നെ നട്ടാൽ അത് ഇപ്പോൾ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനേക്കാൾ വേഗത്തിൽ വളർന്നു നല്ലൊരു ജൈവമതിലായി മാറാനുള്ള സാധ്യതയില്ലേ. അങ്ങനെയാണെങ്കിൽ നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിലെ ജനവാസമേഘലകളിലേക്കു കാട്ടാനകൾ കടന്നുവന്നു കൃഷിയും മറ്റുതരത്തിലുമുള്ള നാശനഷ്ടങ്ങളും വരുത്തുന്നത് തടയാനും ഈ കാട്ടാനകളെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കാതെ തടയുന്നതിനും സഹായകമാവില്ലേ. എന്താണ് അങ്ങയുടെ അഭിപ്രായം. ഇത് പ്രായോഗികമാണോ?

ജൈവമതിൽ നിർമ്മിച്ച് കാട്ടാനകളെ അകറ്റി നിർത്തുന്ന രീതിയുടെ ഫലത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ആധികാര്യമായി പറയാൻ ഉള്ള പ്രായോഗിക പരിജ്ഞാനം ഇല്ല. എന്നാൽ ഏതു ചെടിയും മിഴാവാക്കി രീതിയിൽ നട്ടാൽ അതിന്റെ വളർച്ചയിൽ മികവും വേഗതയും ഉണ്ടാകും . പക്ഷെ മിഴാവാകിരീതി ഏകവിള അല്ല , ബഹുവിള മാത്രമാണ് പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് .
