Pengertian SSD
SSD singkatan dari Solid State Drive atau Solid State Disk, adalah perangkat penyimpan data yang menggunakan serangkaian IC sebagai memori yang digunakan untuk menyimpan data atau informasi.
perangkat SSD menanamkan chip memori berbasis silikon sebagai media penyimpanan untuk menulis dan membaca data persisten . SSD , juga dikenal sebagai flash drive atau kartu flash, dimasukkan ke dalam slot di komputer server - disebut sebagai penyimpanan flash server-side - atau sebagai bagian dari sistem penyimpanan berbagai perusahaan flash.
Sebagai analogi, kita mungkin tidak asing lagi dengan USB Flash Drive atau USB Thumb Drive atau USB memory stick. Sebuah alat elektronik yang kita gunakan untuk menyiman data, yang sering kita bawa ke mana-mana, yang dicolokkan pada terminal USB komputer saat ingin mengambil atau menyimpan data.
SSD bisa dianggap sebagai versi canggih dari USB Flash drive dengan kapasitas yang jauh lebih besar dan berfungsi sebagai pengganti Hardisk yang selama ini digunakan pada perangkat komputer.
Jadi SSD adalah perangkat elektronik yang berfungsi menyimpan data seperti hardisk (HDD : Hard Disk Drive) namun konstruksinya seperti USB Flash Drive, yang tersusun dari beberapa IC sebagai memori.

The funny thing is, that SSD seems to be fairly used, with multiple apps installed. The HDD seems to be fresh with a format and re-install. If the HDD were even used for 1 week before this test, I am sure the boot time would jump to 2, 3 mins, or more Shows why SSDs are the single most important thing to make sure while buying laptops.

There are many more factors in it for example if you use linux it will but under 1 min after a use of month and 2 whereas in windows it takes more time due to a thing called fast boot which rather than fully shutting down your system it created a hybernation file and save data on it and when you boot it up again it starts to between rather than from scratch. In case of ssd it can randomly access any part of it without any problem cause it is made of chipset but in the case of hdd it have to rotate and find where it is causing it to be slower Although it would be a different story if you boot it from grub rather then windows boot manager

FYI: Windows 10 cheats on boot times by using "fast startup", which is basically softcore hibernation. Had fast startup been disabled, the SSD would have taken 10 seconds longer at most, and the HDD would have taken at least a minute longer.

Not desktop icons.. those are just shortcuts to applications.. The applications that are installed and authorized to start up on windows start are the ones that slowed the PC down on Welcome/Login screen

Dulu zaman pentium I hardisk masih scasi yg ada slot khusus, hardisknya besar tp daya tampung alias kapasitas kecil. Although SSD is basically a solid state disk which contains a enough amount of storage that's why ssd is way faster than HDD, HDD is formatly contain tegabyte terabyte etc so the HDD is taking more time to perform the functions

What's "tegabyte" and yes, you can also have up to more than 2 TB storage with a single m.2 ssd and it will boot up faster than had even when it's 95% occupied

I think your thoughts about HDD and SSD are a bit misleading. Unlike HDDs, SSDs capacity aren't physically limited, the only thing limiting us from 128TB SSDs is the tool used to make it. Small capacity SSDs are basically the slowest SSDs, each NAND flash used to added up SSDs size are also used to increase SSDs speed, can you imagine how fast will it be when it has the same size as the biggest HDD rn (32TB)? While with HDD, your speed aren't really depend on the size, it depend on how fast your disk rotate (the RPM speed).

O tempo em que o computador liga é o de menos. O que realmente importa é o que muda na utilização. Se for usar Windows 10 ou 11, use SSD. Eles simplesmente ignoram quem usa HD e não corrigem o erro de HD 100% de propósito. Parece que eles colocaram isso no sistema por que queriam. Devem ganhar alguma coisa com isso.
