Always nice to see an Erie perch fishing trip. Unfortunately, Ontario Province does not allow U.S. anglers to bring Niagaras across the border even if they come from the same body of water. Lucky for us, however, that the U.S. side has just as good perch waters.

Does this t turn rrig only work In deeper water ? Or can I use it in 10 ft of water ?
@thundermistlures3 жыл бұрын
it will work at any depth, so yes, 10 ft is good :)

wow Ivo, that was one big smallmouth bass and I was wondering what lures or bait for freshwater drum (sheepheads)
@thundermistlures9 жыл бұрын
+Mabey Fishing Trio For freshwater drum, they will take live bait such as worms, minnows and crayfish, but they will also hit jigs - here's one of our sheepshead episodes for you :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHi0imCur7ammtk

+Thundermist Lures Hi Evo, I was watching this one other video of an angler that was fishing similar to the way you are and he found that he got 2x-3x more bites from Walleye when he would let the minnows sit on the bottom rather than suspended. He found that the fish would mouth bump the suspended minnow and then swim away, but the walleye would take the bait when it was sitting on the bottom. Give that a try next time :)

I just wanted to know what kind of cut bait are you guys using? Tnx
@thundermistlures7 жыл бұрын
we like to use cut suckers or common shiners :)

Lake Erie emerald shinners are the best for perch

Nice video Ivo, really enjoy the perch videos. I love using the minnows for perch and pike. If you're ever near the Port Dalhousie Marina try using the same technique but with larger minnows or shiners. Pike and Channel Catfish like crazy. Going there this weekend to try for pike. Also, if you could do me a favour and check my channel out that would be really appreciated. I'm just starting out and I love to fish for carp, catfish and pike. Thanks again
