Thank you Harold! I’m retired twice and have pensions from both, retired at 44 and bought 3 1/2 acres in foreclosure for Pennie’s on the dollar and held onto it until economy turned around and sold it for 10x what I paid. Upgraded to this place and was able to pay cash. I knew that junk 3 1/2 acres was going to be my golden egg and had the foresight to see ahead. Thx for watching! Dave

Auction in Ohio (Mt Hope) and Iowa (Waverly) are the best, run spring and fall. Draft horse websites produce as well. Hope that helps and thx for watching.

Is a Pecheron horse capable of carrying more load than a Mule?

The drafts are more for pulling than carrying. However as far as carrying goes, I’d say they could carry equal amounts but it depends on what and where you want to carry it. If your talking a person on trail rides, both make a great option but if your talking about packing and going on an elk hunt then definitely a mule.

@@RubCalBat I’ve had 2 saddle/pack mules and they were awesome. Rode to bottom of Grand Canyon, stayed 2 nights and rode back out. A draft would have never made it. If I were to be casual trail riding, a draft is great but anything other than flat and level, I’d choose a good mule any day!
