It can take time but karma has its way always Alex.. be your best self and eventually its rewarded and those pos get theirs too,a nearly empty beer can on floor during a speeding stop or worse a minor wreck.. thank you for being honest and showing it all while realistic fishing

Uttermost respect for always picking up someone's else trash, that ending was very well said my fellow angler friend.

👍🏻😎 I'm 60 years old and when I was in the 3rd grade I had a teacher tell me that the bad thing about everything starting to be made out of plastic is that a lot of it will end up in the oceans, lakes and rivers because of litterbugs. I'd have to say he was right about that.
@Your_Name_Here_Ай бұрын
Thanks for setting an example of how to show respect for our natural resources and, as always, for keeping it realistic. I had one of those days the other weekend thinking I’d slay some winter trout after watching a few recent videos. Maybe next time…

Great job setting an example of how anybody that plans to enjoy our natural resources should also be stewards of it. Lots of people say they do, but it's refreshing to actually see it in practice! Kudos!

People suck! I've never understood people leaving trash in such beautiful outdoor places. Thanks Alex for being a good caretaker, we need more folks like you.

This is just one reason why I love watching your channel! It's truly a sad shame that ppl are plain disgusting nowadays! No respect for public places that people can enjoy going. Thank you Alex for always being such a wonderful human being! The losers that left their litter could truly take some pointers from you and I'm glad those people got their phone back. Sad shame they didn't try to clean up the area. Thank you for always keeping it realistic Alex

They do an annual lake clean up here. Local volunteers spend the day picking up trash. This past year they picked up over 700 bags of trash. They even found a dashboard for a Buick!
@RealisticFishingАй бұрын
700 bags! That's a lot of trash.

You are doing a great service here. I thought some of our high traffic spots were trashed but that place is really bad!
@timmontano8792Ай бұрын
Back during the covid era a couple of years back, the shores of our local river looked like miniature landfills. I swear that our fishing waters had been overrun by slob fishermen, women and children. I still find alot of trash lining the shores of our nearest stretch of river. I could easily fill two large trash bags and it wouldn't even have made a dent in the amount of trash there was laying around.
@cheezypoofkc673Ай бұрын
First off I want to say Thank You for your efforts to clean the area up. My fishing buddy says those fisherman just don't care like we do and they will leave everything on the bank. He sees that everywhere he goes. Second thing, welcome to my area of the woods. I live 10 min away from Losers Creek, uh, I mean Stewarts Creek and have fished there for 40 years. I have fished many days there like that, no fish wise I mean. (Realistic Fishing for me.) If I go with my fishing buddy, he almost always manages to find a 2 or 3 lb bass hanging around. (Realistic Fishing for him.) I enjoyed your videos. Keep it Realistic.

I honestly expect more of sportsmen. Those people littering are not sportsmen. That’s a gorgeous lake. Thank you for making a difference Alex.
@kennyw6932Ай бұрын
It has always amazed me, people lug a six pac to their fishing spot, drink it and leave the empties. It's much lighter to carry out than it was toting in. I live in SW Ohio and rarely go out in my little boat and not net plastic bottles discarded into the lake or blown into the water plus empty bait containers. Don't know why some folks insist on letting others clean up after them. Makes me wonder what their homes or yards look like. Thanks for your efforts to keep America beautiful. Cheerio.

That looks like a cool pace to go hiking! As for fishing we too the niece and nephew to Swepco lake and Nephew caught a lot of tiny bluegills a small bass and even used one of the mini bluegills and caught his first catfish with it. I caught only one small fish myself. spent most the time tying hooks as it also has a lot of snags. Sadly our lake also has a lot of trash.. Arkansas is known as the natural state.. why we throwing trash all over our parks..

Cheers on leaving it better than you found it. Nothing more Realistic than a skunk outing and being more disappointed in fellow anglers leaving their junk behind.
@TJWilsonАй бұрын
That was a rediculous amount of trash. So sad people treat outdoor spaces so horribly. Watch them get mad when they have to close places down too. I feel bad people have such horrible lives that they feel no remorse for their actions anymore. They just do whatever because they have no hope, or no conscience. So many places I used to visit in my youth are trashed these days. Either homeless camps have taken over, or people just toss or leave their garbage thinking someone else will deal with it. Thanks for cleaning things up a little and glad you found the owner of the phone.
