Mine are still in the ground! currently! in 9a/9b and have no protection and they have been down to freezing temps with zero issue's just for the record !! Strong !! Beautiful!! Tasty plant!!

We've frozen solid the past couple nights, I think they would grow just as great for you. you can leave in ground & mulch them or bring in in pots... They would survive either way. [e-mail]
