Spoken Garden was created by Sean and Allison, a husband and wife team of a horticulturist and a science teacher, who want to teach you simple garden care and help you become a better gardener. Let them help you build your confidence in garden care and strengthen your plant care knowledge so that you can improve your skills. Learn about growing plants and flowers in their first book published by Cools Springs Press, "The First-time Gardener: Growing Plants and Flowers," available on Bookshop.org, Amazon, or wherever you buy books online. Sean and Allison are authors, inventors of two garden tools, The Little Dibby and The Dibby XL (both patent pending), speakers, and content creators. Thanks for the update and useful information! Love your videos! Did you guys ever end up planting with those huge fabric bags/pots you got this spring? I'd love to hear what you grew in them :)

Hi @gwendolynneuhauser9070!! 👋🏼👋🏼 Thank you and glad it was helpful. 😄😉 And, thank you for asking about the larger fabric bags. We did plant two tomatoes, two basil, one pepper plant, and a pumpkin plant, all from @BallHort , in the one 8 foot long @SmartPots fabric bag. They are doing great and we can definitely post a pic of them soon in the community area. It's really fun to grow in this long bed and it fit really well along the side of a walkway. More to come, for sure. 😀😊

Hi @rominaaguis5955! 👋🏼👋🏼 Thank you for saying that and we hope we can help you. Sorry the grasshoppers are eating your canna lilies. There is Neem Oil that can be sprayed directly on the grasshoppers, but only when you catch them on the plant. Also, you could plant other plants around your canna lilies that the grasshoppers find distasteful, like Sage, Artemisia, Jasmine, Verbena, Dianthus, and others. The idea is that these plants being planted around your canna lilies would also keep the grasshoppers away. Hope that helps and thank you for watching!
