When comparing the two responses, Miss Philippines offers a more compelling perspective. Her answer not only recognizes the complexity of the situation but also highlights the significance of the Miss Universe role beyond just appearance or femininity. She emphasizes the importance of the reigning Miss Universe fulfilling her responsibilities and continuing to serve as a positive role model, focusing on character, accomplishments, and contributions. In contrast, Miss Botswana’s response, while celebrating femininity, simplifies the issue by suggesting that pregnancy wouldn't interfere with duties. Though her view is empowering, it doesn’t fully explore the practical challenges of balancing pregnancy with the responsibilities that come with the Miss Universe title. Overall, Miss Philippines’ response captures the complexities of modern womanhood and reflects a more inclusive and comprehensive approach to empowerment.

Personally, I think Miss Universe is a symbol of a woman as well. She celebrates her femininity. And I believe that if she falls pregnant, it will not in anyway interrupt her duties. I believe that as a woman, she should celebrate her femininity.

She's been an advocate since then for pregnant women, and women of any status for that matter, who must be allowed to join the Miss Universe pageant.

Well they said that if the final question was the sole basis of the winner, botswana was the one. You could see that video when the judges were voting for the winner they were side commenting.

I disagree. I think because being a miss universe is just not about being yourself once you became one you got duties do to which makes you a true miss universe and a true leader. If a miss universe becomes pregnant during her reign she should just give up and let the runner up do her incomplete duties. Pregnant women needs rest. And we all know that miss universe life is not normal because you have to be active always to travel worldwide meet millions of people and get interviewed every single week. Its a hard time and lil bit of sacrificing experience. Which I believe isn't right for a pregnant woman to handle.

If Miss universe will she become pregnant during her reign. Should she be allowed to continue as Miss Universe? This is the answer of Miss Botswana Personally, I think Miss Universe is a symbol of a woman as well., as she celebrating her feminity, and I believe that if she falls pregnant, it will not in anyway interrupt her duties. and I believe as woman, she should celebrate her feminity. And this is the answer of Miss Philippines That’s a very difficult situation to be in. And I believe the Miss Universe if ever she becomes pregnant, I believe she should continue with her reign if she has been a good example to be a Miss Universe. She has pursued all the the goals that she has/had in the first place, and I believe that she should continue.. Let’s try to analyze and compare: Both Miss Botswana and Miss Philippines present insightful answers, but the strength of their arguments lies in the broader societal implications of their perspectives. Miss Botswana’s Answer emphasizes femininity and suggests that pregnancy wouldn’t interrupt a Miss Universe’s duties. This is a powerful statement, as it rejects the notion that pregnancy limits a woman’s professional role. She affirms that women should celebrate their femininity, which includes embracing pregnancy as part of the female experience. However, while her stance is positive, it lacks depth in addressing the expectations and responsibilities tied to the title of Miss Universe. Miss Philippines’ Answer, on the other hand, provides a more balanced and holistic view. She acknowledges the complexity of the situation, recognizing the potential challenges, yet insists that if the Miss Universe has been a good role model and achieved her goals, pregnancy should not disqualify her. This answer strongly aligns with modern values of inclusivity, resilience, and empowerment, suggesting that a woman’s personal milestones do not undermine her capability to lead and inspire. Miss Philippines’ response stands out for its depth and focus on empowerment, emphasizing that personal circumstances like pregnancy shouldn’t hinder a woman’s ability to fulfill her duties as Miss Universe. This perspective reflects modern views on gender equality, highlighting women’s capacity to manage both personal and public roles. In contrast, Miss Botswana’s response, while supportive of femininity, doesn’t fully address the broader responsibilities associated with the Miss Universe title. Overall, Miss Philippines offers a more compelling perspective, as her answer embodies inclusivity and acknowledges the diverse roles women play in society today. It resonates with a progressive, forward-thinking outlook. So now, who among the two has a strong and good answer? Drop your Comment or opinion.., below

In comparing the two answers, I would say that Miss Philippines provides a stronger response. Her answer not only acknowledges the complexity of the situation but also emphasizes the importance of a Miss Universe’s role beyond just appearance or femininity. She focuses on whether the reigning Miss Universe has fulfilled her duties and continues to set a positive example, which places emphasis on character, achievements, and contributions. On the other hand, Miss Botswana‘s response, while affirming the importance of femininity, simplifies the situation by stating that pregnancy wouldn’t interrupt duties. While her perspective is empowering, it doesn’t dive as deeply into the actual role and responsibilities of a Miss Universe, leaving out the practical realities that could come with balancing pregnancy and the duties of the title. Overall, Miss Philippines’ answer better reflects the complexities of modern womanhood, aligning with a more inclusive and holistic approach to empowerment.
