Someone who can think out of the box when it comes to nerf. Lets nerf, you mean let's reduce the power ? 1 stone 2 birds, leader & mr negative. Add a tag to leader in the line of the Colossus ability preventing the cost & power to be swapped, done and done. Negative is kept in control for future cards, Leader is now a 6/0 card.

Alex called it: Darkhawk is going to be one of the big winners from next month's Zabu. T3 Zabu, t4 Rock Slide + Darkhawk (in that order), t5 Taskmaster, t6 Arnim Zola the Taskmaster. Also you can mix the order for a Wong lane with the Rock Slide. Seems like it will synergise well with Zero Shuri because Shuri is also a 4 (and she can also be played alongside Wong on 4 after a Zabu for SHENANIGANS).

I think an easy fix to the death wave problem is to not let deaths ability override waves. If you wave death, death should be 4 cost. Not free.

I think wave should make all cards cost the price of the following turn, then wave turn 6 will be more difficult and you couldn't get a free she-hulk. It would also make free death more difficult.

I just want to share my luck pulling cards. I'm just over halfway through Series 3 and still missing some good cards but I opened a reserve and pulled my first Series 4 card right before last week's Snap Chat. It was M'Baku. Two days later I pulled another Series 4 card. Agent Coulson.

I have been playing competitive card games since 1994 (MtG-Revised). One thing I can add to this conversation is there are always going to be cards that are better than others-it is the nature of the games. When you ban and nerf cards, new ones will arise in their place and the community will have a new “witch at the stake” to burn. It is a vicious cycle and one where no one is ever happy. Let some cards be really good and others average and others not very good or only good situationally. The best way to combat a card in the meta that is very strong is to create a future card(s) that helps mitigate that, not continuously making cards worse. No one feels good when they saved up tokens to get a card from the shop or grinding and finally pulling this awesome card they have been wanting to complete a deck, just to have it made worse. That drives more people away from a game than losing to a certain card.

I never hear anyone talk about this combo, but Ironman, and Onslaught together with two other random cards almost always auto win a lane. Like 9 times out of 10.

I love the iron man onslaught combo. I use it in my Surfer Citedel set. I also have a Mystique. Funny thing I named it that once I added Onslaught, and planned to add Wong. It was Sera Irfer before. I didn't even think about the Onslaught Citadel location lol. Must of been subconscious. I realized Onslaught would work, after using my last tokens and then seeing Wong pop up, and I wasn't able to afford him. I got him now thanks to winter wonderland. Wasn't planning on it but psylock would be the perfect final card, for my flex spot. This deck should take me to infinite.

@@yathaut wave on 3. Sera on 4. magic on 5. Onslaught on 6. Wave Magic one lane at 6. Onslaught Sera one lane at 11. On turn 7 Iron man in Sera lane for 3 cost, the rest of my cards will be at one cost. Mystique in solo lane. Brood in mystique lane. Wong Surfer in wave lane. Brood lane ends at 30x2. Wave lane ends at 14. Onslaught iron man lane ends at 44. That's just one of the ways I setup the iron man onslaught combo. Also that combo is only one win condition in my deck. It's not used all the time, but super powerful when it is. Also it can build up some crazy numbers really fast. Went from finishing turn 6 with an empty lane a 6 lane and an 11 lane, to finishing turn 7 with a 60 lane a 14 lane and a 44 lane. It's not just the power that gets people. Its tripling or quadrupling your lane power in one turn. No one expects those jumps.

@@yathaut I don't have issues winning with this combo. I have Wave, Punisher, Jessica Jones, Captain America, and Silver Surfer. As examples of cards for other rows. Usually place Ant-man, and Armor with the Ironman/Onlaught row.

Kill monger has been a great game winner for me in my Sera deck. I've won at least 80% of my games by destroying the 1 costs. Especially in Ultron builds

Love seeing the Zola mention. I've been running a She Hulk/Devil Dino deck (early-ish pool 3). I'll skip 3 and play She Hulk on 4. Dino on 5. Zola whichever lane I think the opponent is going to challenge hardest and it's a free 20+ points spread over two lanes on turn 6.

I only bought that bundle for Dr. Doom primarily, and I considered Invisible Woman a bonus for using Hela. I don't want to wait for an eternity to pull them from CL. The credits certainly helped out easy.

I feel like a good soft fix for iceman is to allow him to target 6 cost cards just not do anything to them. That way if he hits a six in your hand the iceman got no value. As it stands I think he only targets non 6 cards so he gets value every time.

I've been working on a Knull list. I have Zola and Knull in the same deck as well, but didn't previously have any ramp to play both in the same game. I will add wave psycloke and try it out. just not sure what to cut right now. I have in my Deadpool shell, so have a couple of cards that are just for buffing him mainly (nova, forge and hulkbuster) maybe one of those is the target to remove?

Confused about Knull when you mentioned him with Dracula. Since Knull's effect is ongoing, doesnt it only apply when he is on the field? I know colossus loses 1 power when scorpion hits him in my hand. Does being discarded trigger the ongoing?

Can you guys cover Dr.Octopus? I believe he is a very underrated card, climbed from 81 to 89 playing electro octopus. Great vs galactus,zola,mystique, ultron, leader and such. Can also empty their hand and force them to play weak for 2 turns.

Regarding Death, Discard has Apocalypse that increases power every time he's discarded. But yes, cost reduction is a lot better than increasing power, hehehehehe

I hate to admit it but I bought the shielded heart bundle. Collection level just over 2k and missing about 15 pool 3 cards...including BOTH Invisible Woman & Dr. Doom and have been waiting to experiment with both of them so for early access only...I held my nose and bought it (yes, I know I'll still have to open them from reserves). Would never have considered it if not for the dumb luck that it had variants for 2 of the cards I most want but still haven't opened.

As CG design problem in SNAP when you make cards with ALL effect, for example think Surfer vs Ironheart - same cost/power but result not matching. Leader should be or 6/0 or keep same ratio with text 'Copy first or random card played this turn' @bbrode

Boxing Day comes from England, and it's because you used to get your Xmas Present on the 26th. Hence "Boxing Day" (presents were typically in boxes)

I’m pretty sure it wasn’t because everyone got their gifts on the 26th, but that it was actually just a day that rich people used to put gifts in boxes and give them to the poor.

Leader really doesn't affect my Surfer Citedel deck, really. It has a lot of synergy and turns 3-5 or 6 are just setups. My final play is usually further ramped by these former setups, so 9 times out of 10 leader falls short.

I am playing a Dracula/Lockjaw deck and Maximus giving me 2 cards on turn 6 is the worst thing.... Also I don't think that Death is problematic, the problem occurs when wave is played on turn 5, since it does not only reduce Death's cost but She-Hulk's cost also while screwing the opponents plays.

leader should be a 5 cost 2 power that cant be played on turn 6. You still get a high power turn 5 play to copy but your opponent gets the chance to adapt and play it out or retreat

Played a Patriot Deck and someone tried to Leader me on T5 (cost 6 got -1 cost from location), which of course I laughed at their face since Leader don't work on Patriot Deck. Then T6 and they Arnim Zola their Leader. They copied my setup and triggers 3x and that totally wrecks my play.

Leader should absolutely be 1 lane only. His power is doesn’t matter regardless of what it is. What matters is he essentially gives you 12 energy. Which is ridiculous. The only way I can see leader working other than reducing his ability to a single lane is to dump his power into negative values. Like a negative 3 or 6

I still don't know whether to buy Winter Wonderland bundle or not :( Like I get it, it's a great value, but if I had enough Gold, I would preferably buy Cyber Holiday (I didn't have enough Gold back when it was active, I miss only 400 Gold for WW) -> I even tried to make a poll on Reddit to see whether people think it's better to buy the bundle or wait for "Cyber Holiday 2.0" Bundle and... it's 30-26 for buying, which is however not very conclusive... So, the question for people who are still reading -> what's your take? Buy WW, or keep hoping and wait for CH 2.0 with higher value?

I may be bias but Galactus does not need to be nerfed. He can be very easily telegraphed, his card is only a three power but it cost six energy. He requires to be in a lane all by himself. And can be stopped by several cards. The fact that he’s on a watchlist is crazy when cards like death, and she hulk are still running rampant.

You gotta think outside of the box with Helicarrier. It's really good in a Dino deck actually. You destroy with Sif, then bring it back with Ghostrider. I seen someone doing this recently, was really cool. EDIT: ah, this was one for Alex, but I just had to reply as soon as I seen the Helicarrier under "token Shop" regret's. My biggest Token Shop regret was accidentally Unpinning Brood on PC 9if you press ESC while in the shop, you will unpin your pinned card) and lost the card due to this. I felt down for days after, but when I pulled Knull from a chest it kind of made it go away (a bit at least) Now loving my Zola Destroy Deck with the Alt Knull finisher. I am thinking about adding some ramp to the deck though, as then I can play knull into zola. I don't have Death yet, so I don't run the deathwave package. I do have psylocke and wave though, so I have options to add some ramp to the deck. Just have to see if it's worth it or not. Even without Knull, the deck slaps. it might even be the case that Knull is just surplus, but I need to test more... most of the time though my most optimal play is to either Deadpool/Taskmaster on turn 6 or to Zola Venom on turn 6. It's actually rare where just playing knull is my strongest play. Options are great though right, and it doesn't hurt the deck especially to have the extra card (unless it gets copied with Emma. If that happens, it's pretty much game over 50& of the time, as they're going to capitalize from your zola finisher)

I think the most balance option for leader is to make it copy what is played at this location. If you lower his power to a 2 or 3 you just play mr negative into leader into Odin

That would be terrible. The card would be trash. You’re guessing where your opponent plays the big cards on turn 6 and you only had 1/3 chance to guess right??? You’ll need to buff Leader to like 8 power to compensate. At that point, the card kinda lose its uniqueness. A more reasonable nerf would be like “copy the first 2 cards your opponent plays this turn.” That way people can kinda play around it, and it would make Leader weaker to combo decks that have a big turn 6.
