She has two names: Sonnet Son and Son Seung Yeon. “Son” is her last name & “Seung Yeon” is her first. She’s not just a youtube cover singer, but she has sung live on singing shows in Korea, mainly Immortal Songs. She’s also had an original song given to her by Walter Afanasieff called, “I’m Not a Warrior.” She was going places.. then COVID-19 happened. She’s a super talented singer, world class.

Well of course jessie covers Songs (occasionally)but she started out singing (on YT)her own original songs -all went on to sell millions but -my point was all the reactions on YT lately may possible be good singers but a Great Singer comes from creating their own songs-not trying to imitate others🤔JMO

I don’t think it really makes a difference how they started. The young lady you’re criticizing above, sonnet, does have her own songs. In her own language. As long as a person is performing, what home does it do? Some people need time to develop their writing skills but that shouldn’t stop them from performing and showing their talent to the world. You develop a fan base with covers, which for sure is a lot easier than just sending out your originals. If you can do a mixture that really hones your Fanbase even more.

@@LucyLocket24 Completely agree -i’ll start watching all these wannabes when they start writing their own songs-and go thru what all ‘Singersongwriters’ go thru which is always rejection at first until they have a body of work then ill make an effort to check them out-Jessie the ONLY Singer songwriter that put her original songs on ‘You Tube’ which then went into a Platinum Album . 🤔
