This ending always leaves me with a heavy sigh of longing, nostalgia, and contemplation of its stunning beauty. Now you guys can enjoy the whole album in its entirety, which will be a real treat. I consider these two tracks as altogether one song in three parts, as you said. And it is one of my all time favorite songs on one of my all time favorite albums. (I can never pick an absolute favorite with certainty).

The “boing boing” instrument you heard in the beginning is called a mouth harp. Moonsorrow uses it in most of their songs. Its a great instrument in my opinion.

'Matkan Lopussa' is actually basically a pseudo-cover of the Russian folk song 'Белой акации гроздья душистые', obviously with new lyrics. An absolutely lovely version.
