Great job on the wrap of the fiberglass kick panels. I use to build fiberglass boats and those wraps can be frustrating but you managed to get it to work, which is how I would've done it. My wife and I enjoy watching you and the work you do. Keep up the good work.

Hey doug newer subscriber but I've caught myself up on the mule built, for the most part. People don't realize the hours you'll put into a small kick panel. I tore my dash down and put a 10" tablet in and I bet I have 20 hrs into when it was all said and done. Not to mention when your building something from nothing you take a little extra time making sure it's perfect. Love the mule btw!

The first and most important thing when doing something you never did before is.....BELIEVE. One can do anything with this approach. I'm working on a GMC van. It's rusted out along the bottom. I made a female mold for a fiberglass part to replace what is no longer there because of rust.

Harmon Tedesco oh yes you do!!! I would hate to whack my bare foot on a sharp edge of the exposed cabin sheet metal, laying behind a kick panel. Regardless of what this gentleman says. Although I do respect him, and love his work, I beg to differ from his opinion. 😆 Have you ever whacked your bare toes on a bed rail, that was missing the head board, that’s supposed to go with it???? I have. Many, many times. My brother and I didn’t like wearing shoes when we were inside. Back in the early 90s. We were so poor, that my father used to bring home broken items that others threw out, and fix them to working order, just enough to give us something to sleep comfortably in at night. That bed rail stuck out like a sore thumb, and My brother and I were dumb and inexperienced enough to walk into it, and whack ourselves with it many times throughout our childhood. Every time we hit that thing, it was a very painful nightmare. Sometimes we bled hitting that rail. I guess I’m being overly dramatic here, but yea!!! That’s my poor, weird childhood foot story.

Just wanted to point out that it is called fiberglass cloth, not woven mat. You have chopped mat, cloth and woven roving. There are a couple other types as well but those would be the three most common. Love the videos though. Keep them coming. The box was really nice and really like what you're doing with these kick panels.
