My Setup 4 Impact® golf method makes it easier to hit any golf shot. Simply setting up on your impact plane and then swinging on one single plane makes the game easier. I customize the simple concept to fit each individual golfer regardless of age, flexibility, and natural ability. I will help you improve faster than any other way. I have worked over 35 years in developing this simple golf swing method which can help anybody play better golf quickly. Many do better their next time out. Because it is easier to repeat it is also easier on the body. Putting less stress on the back, hips, and knees.

ABOUT KIRK JUNGE
-----------------------
Kirk Junge began playing golf at the age of 5. After a successful Junior Golf career, Kirk turned professional in 1986. He has played on the Dakotas Tour, the Teardrop Tour, the South Florida PGA and the SouthWest Ohio PGA where he captured one victory.
More recently Kirk played tournament golf again for the first time in almost 20 years in 2021 where he finished second in the Senior division in the United States Golf Teachers Cup in Las Vegas, NV. There were Golf teaching professionals from around the USA playing in this competition which took place in 30 to 40 MPH winds. Kirk competed again in 2022 and again finished second with rounds of 69, and 73.
In the year 1996, Kirk began to teach the golf swing of Moe Norman, and shortly thereafter taught with the Natural Golf Corporation, where he stayed until 2005. During that time he was one of the top instructors and was responsible for answering over 3000 golf technique questions on the Natural Golf forum. He was a licensed instructor with the Graves Golf Academy from 2014 to 2016. Kirk also holds several other certifications with the United States Golf Teachers Federation, the World Golf Teachers Federation, and is a former PGA of Europe member.
After leaving Natural Golf, Kirk headed to Pforzheim, Germany where he ran his own Golf Academy until 2014.
In 2005, Kirk set his sights on creating a simpler golf swing, which led to the creation of Setup 4 Impact Golf. Using his 20+ years of golf instruction experience and his knowledge of the many different golf methods. Kirk has distilled golf knowledge from some of the best golf instructors in the world to create the Setup 4 Impact golf swing. His instructors included the likes of Wild Bill Melhorn, Jimmy Ballard, Terry Crouch, Artie McNickle, Chuck Hogan and Dave Pelz, and many more.
Kirk’s main goal is to help golfers improve their game as quickly as possible.

The Setup 4 Impact golf method can be fully customized to fit your own personal needs without the need for special golf clubs.
Kirk has taught golf for 35 years now. He has taught various golf methods including for Natural Golf Corporation, Single Axis golf, and the Graves Golf Academy. Kirk invented the Minimalist golf swing method which had you setup and swing on a single plane, which has evolved into his currently taught Setup 4 Impact swing which is the Ultimate golf swing because it is built to fit every golfer regardless of shape, size, age, or ability. The Setup4Impact golf swing very closely resembles the swing of Bryson DeChambeau who also sets up on his impact plane. Kirk's number one goal is to help you improve at golf.
Kirk Junge currently teaches his "Setup 4 Impact" swing full-time in West Palm Beach, Florida year round, as well as Cincinnati, Ohio, Reading, PA, and Sanford, NC a couple times per year. Other locations coming soon including California. More info at setup4impact.c...

It’s hard for anyone watching this to believe such simple drill can lead to so much improvement until they actually make the commitment to try. That used to be me too 😊

I did 5 minutes of this drill of half swings this morning after a round of mishitting my driver every drive.... proceeded to then hit 20 drives in a row with the ball coming out of the middle. Only swinging driver slower at 95mph, but out of middle ball going 255 yards at this speed. The handle leading the club at impact is the key. Thanks Kirk.

No towels or ball baskets under the arms? No alignment sticks, no todd's patented stance measurement board, no weird contraptions to pull and push your arms? I don't know, Kirk, it seems a little too simple :D

Kirk, took the leap and went to Club Champion and the new clubs are amazing, a ten to fifteen yard improvement on each club. We are doing the drills and love your utube stuff. PS the new Cleveland Paradigm driver is out of this world!

I want to echo the sentiment that your simplification of setting up and executing the golf swing is appreciated. I have watched gazzillions of videos by 50+ "gurus" who dream up new content weekly. Just about all of it is unnecessary nonsense that creates the idea that playing good golf is an almost unattainable dream because there are too many aspects that must be mastered. I had one 4 hr driving range session based on a few of your videos (they convey the same message). The drill you demonstrate here of getting the handle in front and hitting those tiny little shots took me half an hour to not get right, and I then abandoned it. I played 2 days later and ended with an 81 after I missed 4! one yard putts. Had a 3.5 hr session yesterday and managed the handle in front drill much better this time and hit it well. Am I correct that in setting up, I should push my hips slightly towards the target? I presume that is part of the approach to facilitate an impact position. When I do that, the impression is created when I look down at the club, that my hands are pressed forward, which they are actually not. Is that observation accurate? Pardon the long post.

Great to hear that you are doing so well, so quickly. Keep it simple and focus on impact = Enjoy the game!! The hip slightly forward at the start put them closer to where they need to be at impact. So less moves to get there. Club should be in line with the leading arm, so it may feel like the hands are also pushed forward.

Kirk, Any tips for chipping in very wet conditions inside of 50 yards? I am in Mississippi for the winter and the conditions are wet around the greens.
@Setup4Impact

You need a great flat spot through impact which is what I show you how to do in this video. Hands leading and moving up through impact. Scrape the ground, don't dig in.

My course has a lot of hard, exposed dirt this time of year, I.e. before the first rains. My first round using setup4impact last week, I ended up short of the green right in front of a bunker where the dirt is exposed. Been there a few times before and not once have I been able to hit that 8 or so yard little pitch successfully over that bunker. Was always fat and in the bunker. This time I hit the perfect shot with sand wedge and had a 1 yard putt for par (that I missed...).

Do you find with this method you maintain distance on a flush if you're exerting the same tempo vs a conventional swing?
@Setup4Impact
@Setup4Impact Жыл бұрын
Most people gain distance because of more consistently good contact. If the speed and contact are exactly the same then the ball will go the same distance.

How far can you drive the ball using this swing method?
@Setup4Impact
@Setup4Impact 6 ай бұрын
Bryson DeChambeau is one of the longest in the world using this method. I am quite long for 60 years old averaging around 280 yards off the tee. Most people should gain distance due to the setup. More at setup4impact.com/online/

I'm an old guy coming back to golf after a long hiatus and lumbar fusion surgery. I was about a 10HC, but that was 15 years ago. Was looking for a somewhat back friendly swing and ran into Kirk and Tony's (geezergolf) stuff. Been trying to use the setup principles and have been incorporating this drill. I'm encouraged. To the point I'm considering signing up for training and/or maybe even attending one of the clinics.

Steelfiber shafts?
@Setup4Impact
@Setup4Impact Жыл бұрын
Yes, I was fit for them at Club Champion. It was by far the best for my swing from over 20 shafts that I tried. The key is to get the fitting so as to find out which shaft is best, and then put that shaft into the various clubhead to find out what combo works best for your game. If you go to club champion use my name as your referral and they will treat you as a VIP. clubchampiongolf.com

@pgowan357
@pgowan357 Жыл бұрын
@@andrec5455 how do you get less moving parts?
@andrec5455
@andrec5455 Жыл бұрын
@P Gowan I guess it's not really less moving parts. It parts moving more naturally, closer to traditional technic. Keeping the front leg bent and the back foot down is the same amount of parts, but it was a lot more work and unnatural for me. Making me more inconsistent and also a bit shorter. I didn't express myself properly, my apology
@Setup4Impact

The swing is customizable for each golfer, but most will setup closer to the ball so as to make it easier to get the hands leading through impact which shallows the club through impact, on a straighter path, and with less clubface rotation. This also makes it possible to hit the center of the clubface even from a tighter lie. We also let the body move more naturally to create more speed with the legs moving from a bent position, to straightening through impact which aid in body rotation which of course is vital in creating great impact parameters. Grip is also customizable so as to allow for the fastest improvement possible. Many other differences as well of course due to much customization for the individual golfer.

Since starting this drill, have not come close to a shank. Thinning is very rare, bad shots are fat, hitting ground before the ball.
