Perfect Grade Unleashed RX 78-2 Gundam Review

I didn't want to comment again but I have to make a confession. A buddy of mine was asking for the best kit to build, looks good, and poses well (he is coming from 1/6 hot toys figure line). I was going to suggest this kit as his first model kit to build but I remember that one time he pushed me into a lake. So my response to him was a 1/72 Mechanicore kit.

Funny you ask about the other weapons. All those weapons are available in the RX-78 Custom Set #2, which includes armor plating and the extra weapons designed for the original PG RX-78. As for light-up beam sabers, it's also included in the Custom Set #1, which has the rest of the clear armor plating to match with the second set.

I feel like the innerframed for the older perfect grades were way better than the newer ones. For example areas where parts move have pistons so feels like a real robot that could exist. I am thinking to buy the older prefer grades than the newer ones. Not just because they’re cheaper but because I really want to paint them and put my skills to the test. I didn’t get the feeling for this kit. I do have other issues though with the PG unleash, I am disappointed and confused why didn’t come with the other iconic accessories, it doesn’t come with individual fingers, doesn’t come with an action base, and no waterslide details. I the the funny part is the MGEX came with all the stuff I mentioned. With all that being said I still think this is one of the best PG kits ever.

Despite the complex look of the kit, it's actually a very straightforward build. The only downside to this kit is the price, but then again, this is a PG kit

Everyone gushes over the kit and all the detail. I feel the team that did the instruction manual doesnt get enough credit. It was probably a pain to make a manual that was really clear and easy to follow.

Mg Ex unicorn vs this Pg Unleashed is a super rip-off, Bandai Koolaid drinkers defended that rip-off almost 300 dollars for a retooled, slightly resculpted rehash that could light up, this tells Bandai they can just fart into a paper box and you'll buy it, tell me by looking at this PG unleashed model that MGEX is not a rip-off.
