I got mine! My first ever pizza oven. I have a lot to learn but just following Vito's recipes with poolish for the 1st time and the pizzas were already amazing! we could just eat the dough alone! Since the 3cm thick biscotto stone keeps warm for such a long time, I was able to bake an apple pie or cook a beef ragu in a "dutch oven" with the oven mostly turned off! I absolutely recommend to buy the taller version (P134HA) I've been using everyday for 2 weeks trying all sorts of recipes, you can use as you regular oven (with the regular pizza stone) for many recipes.

Looks to me like the original Effeuno is better because there is not enough top heat for Neapolitan style in this taller one. The bottom of the pizza is very dark and the top is a little pale. Both elements were preheated at 500C.

The oven was not preheated properly. Check the thermostats at 6:40...7:20, bottom at around 400C, top at even less, 380C maybe... A failed test this time, sorry...

I made a electric oven myself, with turning bottem stone, its warm in 25 minutes and cooks the pizza in 1 minute if must (pre heating with 28 minutes) Its 2000 watts

I've seen two videos so far where people with this bigger 18 cm height variant will at the end of the cooking actual hold it on the peel higher up close to the top grill element, I guess to char it a bit. Is this a downside of this bigger model, and something you don't need for the smaller 9cm one? Like he does at 9:35 in the video.

The thick stone cooked the base maybe a little to much. The lack of flame on top meant the top was perhaps a little light . Would cooking on the peel for the last 30 secs with maybe an extra 10 to 20 secs cooking time. Any thoughts or should I stop being such a know it all.

Get the effeuno, the Ferrari is a waste of money, the bottom will always be burned and the top will be pale and soupy! Also, you can use it indoors unlike the ooni!

@@voltronteamfromthe80s41 The g3 ferrari and ariette goes upto 350-400 C, and that is still much higher than regular ovens who typically reach 250-300 C. i'm sure g3 wouldn't mind sending him a oven, it costs them nothing compared to a a EffeUno.

Lo stesso mio forno! 😉 Io ho però messo il biscotto per napoletana sostituendo la refrattaria, e non appoggiandolo sopra l'altra... ho comunque visto che, anche non togliendo la refrattaria, la cottura è comunque venuta abbastanza bene sotto (un pelino troppo cotta per i miei gusti). Io ho trovato un buon bilanciamento di temperature regolando il cielo al max (500°C) e la platea a 400°C, il biscotto arriva comunque oltre i 400°C (tra i 430°C e i 460°C) perchè viene scaldata ulteriormente dalla resistenza superiore che è al massimo... che dire, fantastico forno! 👍 rispetto alla versione P134H (più basso) dove bisogna girare la pizza, in questo non c'è bisogno di girarla, e tra l'altro lo uso per fare anche altre cose come pane, biscotti, etc etc... Grande Vito!!! 👍👍👍

Hello @Vito Iacopelli - Thank you for your great channel. I tell all my friends to check it out. Question: I am interested in a larger version of this - the P150H or HA model. It is larger and can fit up to like a 18" (45-50 cm) pizza. Problem is, they don't include the Saputo biscotto and say it is not suitable for Neapolitan pizza. I understand Neapolitan is usually small pizza but I like to make them bigger at home. Do you have any recommendations for an electric oven which can do larger pizzas at higher Neapolitan temps, including a Saputo biscotto?

@@samialnasser2824 If You get black spots on the stone, You just turn the oven to the MAX temp on both heaters and wait for about 20 minutes. All the black spots eventually turn into grey ash. Once the oven cools down, You take out the stone and wipe it with paper towel. The bigger problem is putting too many toppings on the pizza. Any topping that falls on the stone can cause fire, real fire inside the electric oven. Whatever You do, make sure the toppings don't slide off when You put the pizza inside the oven!

Best pizza channel, vito 4 presidente! Got the same oven, top 475°/bottom 450°C works fine. No need to turn pizza, it gets cooked totaly evenly, you just drop temperature when opening the oven, whats unnecessary.

You may have figure it out by now, but no it won't. It's an 3200w oven that needs 220/240v You need it get installed an 240v breaker for it to work in 120v USA :-)

If used correctly, it does not produce any smoke. If you accidentally drop ANY topping on the stone, there will be a fire inside. Same goes for excessive amount of flour used for stretching the dough.

That’s the trick - oven! I though i was doing something wrong with my dough, it never got so big in my home oven. It only goes to 250 C. I got the stone - it got little better! But the thing is the oven! Now i need to collect 800$ to get it

Probably needs a little tweaking of the cooking process, the bottom seems overcooked and the top and sides of the crust a little behind, not much color on it, perhaps because the chamber is high and the pizza is too far from top heating element, maybe lover the temp of the bottom side of the oven and lift a little bit the pizza at the end for more time that he did in this video. Also two minutes is too much for neapolitan pizza but im sure Vito is going to improve the process after this first experiment.

Give me the Breville Pizzaiolo any day of the week :- * This is too big. * The Breville heats up to Neopolitan temps in 15-20 mins, this takes an hour - way too long. I'd have eaten my Pizza & done the washing up before this is up to temp. * The Breville has presets for Pan/New York/Thin&Crispy and Wood-Fired as well as the manual independent top deck/lower deck temps. * The Breville has independent controls for crust & centre. The only advantage this seems to have is that it goes to 500C, the Breville only 400C. But 400C is plenty - I use 375C and the Breville cooks a really good Neopolitan in 2 mins.

It's not cheap, but even I can cook pizzas that look at least as good as the one in this video, and I'm no pizza chef by a long way (I'd post a pic if I could). Hands down, the best bit of kitchen kit I've ever bought and worth every penny/cent/dime. If it broke after the (3 year) warranty expired, I'd immediately buy another. Oh - and no, I have no affiliation with them. Check your power though, I just checked mine (220-240V) and it peaks at 2.3KW. Not sure if 115V systems support that? 20 Amps or thereabouts...
