I'd love to see a video on free metal MIDI bass plugins if you ever find any. From what I've noticed, there aren't many available at the moment, and the ones I've come across don't support low tunings.

I don't use midi bass but I imagine that you can put a pitch shifter plugin before the bass plugin and do lower tunings. There are many free and paid pitch shifters, I personaly use a free one called Pitchproof.

Yeah as someone who mainly uses guitar and bass virtual instruments, the options for free bass ones are thin on the ground. I haven't found anything for lower tunings.

@@akivisko Thanks for the suggestion. I've already tried placing the pitch shifter plugin after a MIDI bass plugin. While this approach can work, it often results in a loss of quality. That's why I am searching for a MIDI bass plugins that could handle low tunings without the need for an external pitch-shifting plugin.

the type of amp definitely matters. emissary isn’t a great amp, it works but there are better options. if you’re going for a puppets tone, use a 2c+ sim like fluff 2c. of course these are close but you come get much closer with a better amp

@@resington im not hating but this is ridiculous. eq matching isnt gonna get you a perfect tone, it really only gets you a little bit closer. 90% of the work is the ir and the amp settings, not just the ir and eq matching

@@SilentScreamsStudios neural dsp's mark iic+ amp sim is amazing, i was just giving an example from what i own. either way a good amp sim of the amp sound youre actually going for is going to be much better than emissary

Again. JZIR will match to any amp sim's voice giving the same result with whatever you use. This pack is only matched to emissary. To understand what I'm talking about, please watch Jason Zadoras videos about his methods.
