Awesome build James. Thank you for a knowledge your passing on. You even talked about gearing, which a lot guys don’t like too. There’s no guarantee the next guy is going to get the same results. I think a lot of it is just skills and experience. Appreciate you brother

Another great informative video Mr. James. I really appreciate you taking the time to share with us your knowledge and expertise. I'm fairly new to the speed racing scene. My builds are pretty much built off of what I have learned from you and Raz Shifrin. Keep up the great work and videos.

Subscribed. I only started in RC a few months ago. I became hooked when I started watching speedrun videos. Bought a tt02R chassis and learned a lot from that build. Tried to do some speedruns and long story short, I realized it’s a huge challenge to get a tt02 mid 100s. So I got a vendetta, did every single mod you can imagine. Literally. Now, I want to build a perfect pass replica of Raz’s dual motor. So I bought the glossy GT Chassis when he just got more in stock and I ordered. Brand new limitless v2. Then, I realized, anyone using the GT Chassis, isn’t using the limitless body. 😂. Such a newbie. I’m going to keep on building it and was also curious if you knew is it a clean swap over? New v2 to the pp chassis??
@jamesmccoy20410 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching. Yes the V2 to Perfect Pass chassis is a straight across swap

Good stuff buddy! Cant wait to see it run! I run that velcro and you can barely get batteries off the chassis after!😂super strong stuff 👍👍Great vid man!

Thanks for an awesome videos full of great info. James after the build is done and the ride high is set. How do you fine tune the ride high? And what i mean is when checking that the tires hit the floor at the same time or when raising the front and 1 tire won't touch the ground while the other tire does? Thanks again

Run 4 bats for traction and to counter voltage sag.

This has been very helpful to me. I'm using the perfect pass springs also. I see you are using bump stops with yours also, are they necessary with those springs?
@jamesmccoy204 Жыл бұрын
Glad it was helpful, Bump stops are not necessary with all setups , on some of my dual motor cars i still run , these shocks were off of another car that already had them so i just left them installed
@fredericktodd5789 Жыл бұрын
@jamesmccoy204 I'm doing my shocks now with the DU-BRO washers. Can't seem to get the front low enough. The washer does go under the piston..right?

I literally ordered the exact same sets today. I’m in Australia so it’s super hard to get good lipos here. But finally got someone to help. Can’t wait see if they do as good as onyx.

Get some software written up for traction control and able to steer itself down the track.
@jamesmccoy204 Жыл бұрын
Actually the only traction control I need is my throttle finger , and steering is my other hand , I like to drive my cars ,
@Captinfun101 Жыл бұрын
I’m interested in how you do your steering as in trim amount etc. if that’s something you would share.

You mind me asking what kv that 5860 1/5 motor was? I had one before (it was a beast) but 6-pole and I think too high kv because I kept blowing out ESC’s even with conservative gearing. I got the 4080 now love it
@jamesmccoy204 Жыл бұрын
1150kv , Unfortunately 6 pole motors dont always play nice with the xlx2.
