Up until 0:38, it was just a little...off. I was thinking what people in the 80s would say if they saw this exact video as the opening credits for the show. The thing with the 80's it would go out of the box mid presentation all the time. More so in movies and especially music videos. I don't think we'd comprehend that visual, though no. But look up Billy Ocean -Loverboy. It shows middle Earth and the Reptoids that live there. All stuff thats real but we haven't been told yet, it has zero to do with the song. We didn't comprehend it's the future or a real place we just accepted it was just weird 80's moment.
