Wow, I found you quite by accident and I am glad that I did. I loved the way you explained the Towa gauge. I recently ordered one and awaiting it arrival. I am looking forward to seeing more of your tutorials. Many thanks.

I just got my gauge today and adjusted my case. Holy crap, it was all the way close to 400!!!! Now with it adjusted to the correct tension, my stitches are clean and crisp!
@TheQuiltedPoodle3 жыл бұрын
That is awesome! It made a huge difference for me as soon as I started using it. It just fast tracks you to getting good tension.

Great job explaining why use a Towa gauge and how to use it. I highly recommend them to all longarm quilters, regardless of longarm brand. It takes the frustration out of the tension equation. Joyce at Delightful Quilting & Sewing, a Nolting Longarm dealer, Avon, NY

Great video thanks for taking the time to do this. When I pull on the towa gauge for long length every once in a while, I get the tension jumping up above 200 and then settling right back in. Wondering if that means there’s something with my Bobbin winding. It doesn’t seem to be specific to anyone BobBin.

That's a good question. I'm very slow and methodical in the way I pull my thread so I'm trying to get some consistency there. And I notice there isn't so much jumping of the needle . I do like the standalone bobbin winders better than the ones on my Juki or Qnique longarms

Great video. Is there a tension gauge for the Juki 2200 QVP Mini? Thank you!
@TheQuiltedPoodle3 жыл бұрын
There is also a tension gauge for the L class bobbin. But that is also a long arm bobbin . You might contact Joe Kuhel from juki of America he's the customer service rep and he would know. When you go on juki's website there is an area where you can contact the company to ask questions.

Where can you purchase pre-one bobbins for the 2200 Juki long arm quilting machine?
@TheQuiltedPoodle4 жыл бұрын
You can get Pre wound "Super Bob" bobbins from Superior Threads or Cindy's Threads: www.cindysthreadworks.com/shop/Superior-Threads/SuperBobs-Cotton-Prewound-Bobbins.htm. I take the spring out of the bobbin when using these on my Juki. I also really like the Magna-Bobs by Fil Tec. You can order these from Fil Tec, I've even seen them on Amazon and Ebay. With the Magna Bobs, I leave the spring in the Bobbin Case. Here's a link to an article on Pre-Wound bobbins from Angela at Quilted Joy: quiltedjoy.com/2020/03/decobob-or-magnaglide-favorite-prewound-bobbins-2.html
