My first real solo trip (I currently live in England for my French assistant job and only did some weekends in Northern England cities until now) was also in Edinburgh and it's about to end tomorrow. I loved it, since I took a whole week I also went out to visit Glasgow, the Highlands and Saint Andrews. I really recommend Scotland

Also I didn’t book the taxi before the trip but for the train - yes I did book beforehand! I used the trainline app to see which day and time had the cheapest tickets haha. Oh it was just a walk in to a random restaurant down the street so I don’t really remember the name of the place! :’( but I do recommend u make reservations at restaurants at least 2 days before (for dinner especially) ‘cause everywhere was fully booked when I tried walking in on the day! the editing & colour grading is so pretty! i really want to visit edinburgh what camera are you using? it looks really good for travel vlogs, i feel too self conscious to use a big camera outside

Oh my gosh I definitely recommend Edinburgh for a solo female trip! It was also my first trip alone ever so I was super nervous, but everyone was very kind and helpful, and I didn’t feel unsafe at all!! Especially when I went back home late after watching the sunset at Calton Hill, the streets were fairly bright and many people were still walking down the street so I didn’t feel in danger at all :)) I say give it a go! 😊😊

I went there late April of 2022, and it was still pretty chilly! Especially during the walking tours I was very cold wearing a pretty warm coat. The guide told us Scotland weather is always cold so to be prepared for it hahas.
