I done what he said in 2021. All I did different was change the crossover. Instead of lowering it to -24dB/oct, I changed it to -12bB/oct to add more bass. From there I’m able to put up all the speaker levels and put up the bassboost.

Build amplifier has inbuilt LPF knob generally. You can keep LPF around 80-100hz on both head unit and amp.

Right I can help you here as I run a bi amped setup..sub/ mids and tweets all on their own channels. The general rule is if you want to run a system at full volume without distortion, you will play it flat - which to me sounds shit depending on the cars acoustics. You can boost eq but you will need to make allowances on the headunti volume depending on much you boost the eq frequencies... I set my gains on my amp to play the unti at 61/62 which is max unclipped signal....the i play my music at around 58 to allow me some headroom to set any boosts in eq :) If your running a pioneer headunti, does it have an audio/eq button on the facia? If so when the unit is off hold this button down and it will bring up a hidden menu where you can reset the audio settings :) Its a good idea to use the amplifier crossover alongside the headunit as a backup just incase something goes fubar in the headunit settings...As I found yesterday after my headunit crossovers decided to go daft!

I always play music through Bluetooth and couldn't seek the track on time bar as you did on your other video 'New Head unit Review' at 3:35 and Album Art doesn't show up while playing music. I have just figured it out that it only works when music is being played through USB.

Yup its completely different case via Bluetooth and USB. I don't generally use Bluetooth for music. USB has option to synchronization artists and other categories maybe that's why you get album arts and all the details via USB. Internal decoding gives you best output that's why I recommend USB all the time.

Strange something seems to be wrong. Please check wiring polarity and amp gain if you have amp for speakers. Also turn on HPF.

Hi..need advice.. I want TATA nexon harman like audio in my swift.. tell me what speakers/components or head unit shall I need to install. Had just recently added pioneer tsw3000t with infinity ref551a, but now after listening to Nexon harman audio, I no longer want extra subwoofer or amplifier.. Just door speakers with a clean and mesmerizing punchy bass. I have changed speakers many times but never heard anything like harman in midrange cars. Local audio installers also don't have proper knowledge and recommend bullshit which I already tried b4. Kindly give your suggestions, it would be great help. Bdw all 4 doors+tailgate damped.

The problem is with cabinet inside the door. Nexon has big door cabinets and strong plastic so they sound good. You can go for DD components for bass. They can come close to nexon stock system. VW stock system sounds way better than Tata Harman setup. Also bose stock setup in Kia cars! So everything depends on acoustics. Simple fix will be adding subwoofer without wasting money on different speakers m

Currently there is infinity reference components installed and these do not produce bass like how other car audio KZbinrs claim, but mids and hight r very good. Hi bro ..i have a pioneer HU. An old one..have a infinity 4 channel amp A alpine -Pwe-v80 sub underseat Stadium 600c at front(component) Stadium 620c at rear (coax) I did set the eq to the following bands 80hz- 0 250-0 800-(-2) 2k-(-2) 8k-(-6 or -5) Now the problem that comes is..the sound is too loud at times..like it pains the ears the frequencies like(chi chi or. The lipsing or the dish drum beats) they pain the ears, also due to that i did lower 8k frequency, So for now the sound sounds a bit tiny as those frequency ranges are suppressed. Also the bass also sounds less at times when i drive. Any udea how to fix the eq issue , is a more band equalizer needed???

You've already set EQ with minimal mid highs still you are getting irritated by mid highs on high volume it's because your underseat subwoofer is weak compared to your components. So mid highs are powerful than bass when you're loud. Please set gains properly on your 4ch amp so that you won't get any distortion on high volume. Also keep LPF HPF off on amp and get full range audio from components so that you'll get some bass from them too. Try enjoying music with flat EQ once. Maybe that'll help. And if nothing works please get some real sub in the boot as under seat subs are not going to be loud ever!

@@rochakjain8334 very little midbass will be there. As your sub has inbuilt amp I believe that's entry level daily driver as SPL subs never have inbuilt. So entry level subs are audible in midbass section so you can enjoy some midbass out of sub. If you don't like it then you can drop down to 80 or even 60hz

Watch CarAudioFabrication (Mark). He makes a good video. It may be hard at first but keep watching and you'll get it. Unfortunately there's an investment you'll have to make to be able to set gains properly, but luckily after that you'll already have the tools next time. You need an oscilloscope or an SMD DD-1. Don't try the multimeter method.

@@GlycerinZ I run a pioneer deh80 prs, and recently the dsp crossover section decided to fail on cutting the lower frequencies from my mids and highs...Ended up having to use the crossovers on my amplifiers instead as a backup, but the system sounds a lot clearer and less distorted when using the amp crossovers as opposed to the headunit crossovers...weird.

Then you want to turn the gain down until it stops clipping and that's where you want it. Basically as high as you can go without making your subwoofer clip
