Wow! What an amazing twist out ! So much volume an bounciness! One of KZbin's best. Goals for real! Over the past 2 weeks, my routine/products is slowly evolving into yours. First I tried castor oil, then aloe, but I dilute mine with distilled water. Right now I'm being very light on the oils as I'm in the process of accumulating my own natural oils and water rinsing my hair. When I get too much sebum I plan to try a vinegar rinse and oil treatment similar to what you do. So far I've noticed a 99% reduction in hair breakage, nice virtually tangle free, defined and elongated hair that is very moisturized where my sebum has accumulated. My ends with the added oil aren't as soft as the sebum-conditioned hair. At any rate my hair is loving the changes! Hopefully one day I can achieve a twist out like yours!
@IndigenousStrandz115 жыл бұрын
Yessss!!!!! Gurl yes exactly!!!!! You are right about your scalp producing your own oil!!! Glad it's working out for you😘😘
@simpleeye79505 жыл бұрын
Indigenous Strandz I think products cause breakage somehow, because since ditching them, I get almost no breakage. Like when I used products I noticed my hair tended to want to break off in tiny little bits, even with products my hair seemed to like. But when I use only aloe water, water and oil, this is reduced to almost nothing. 99% of all hair lost is shed hair, and I'm having very few of those even. And I'm also practically tangle free which seems impossible. Minimalism seems like a key to retention of hair length and follicles. Hair needs much less than what we have been led to believe. I'm glad I challenged myself to try going without products and conditioners. I can see how my hair will take off and thrive from here. It's already thick and somewhat long (BSL) but I can tell I can easily go full Rapunzel with this simple water oil aloe regimen. I have considered trying shea butter for ends instead of oil since it's supposed to be more sebum friendly- less likely to strip it. BTW, I noticed you do very minimal make up. So do I- been simple for years. Lash Curler, Mascara, BB cream, tinted chap stick and I'm OTD. Every now and then I do a fancy eyeliner.

YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! Totally fabulous and to think you didn’t use a bunch of creams, stylers, etc. Just wonderful oils and your own flaxseed gel you made. I have to admit, I’m ALMOST doing everything you do. Not the shampoo/cleansing conditioner yet, but almost. The main things I do are NO MORE TOOLS just my fingers to detangle. I swear I think using tools is like an addiction 😂. I also use the Aloe Vera Juice, Aloe Vera oil, castor oil and ACV. I tell you this it is amazing how using the castor oil has made me be able to glide shed hair out without snapping or breaking. I love this part and having my hair moisturized for days. I need to do better with the wrapping my hair with scarves because that oil seeps into everything. I use a trick of using purple extra jumbo magnetic rollers with end papers to roll my hair for a bit to give it some stretch and not get oil all over my back. I have these in for about 15-20 minutes, only to bump my ends for a bit not necessarily curl my hair. This works great too. Thank you so much for all the wonderful advice, and the results of your hair is just magnificent. Again, thank you for the video 🙏🏽.
