As a mechanic, he is right about the yellow dot and typically lining it up with the valve but, if you use a road force balancer, you will find sometimes you need to rotate the tire on the rim to a different spot to get the best balance. Also those wheels are 🔥🔥🔥 They look so good!

Guessing hub centric rings weren’t needed? Got Beyond’s on the way for my FL5 so wanted to be ready.
@phothrottleАй бұрын
Yes you do need hub rings. 72.60 or 64.10MM I can't remember the size. Check with your supplier.

@phothrottle what size were the center caps? The 63mm or the 73mm?
@phothrottle3 ай бұрын
What car are you asking for. Some advans require 63 and some 73 depends on the vehicle.

@@phothrottle I bought the exact same wheel and spec for my fl5. Advan gt premium 18x10 +40 5x120. Center caps weren't included but the site has both so wasn't sure which size to buy

Is it safe to lower the car on this wheel setup? I plan on doing the eibach sportlines for the fl5. Thank you 🙏🏼
@phothrottle5 ай бұрын
Yes it is perfectly safe to do lowering springs on this setup. I'm on RS-R coilovers currently and they are much lower than lowering springs. I don't have any rubbing issues.

what degree of the camber? Does it rub? 10J 265 Tyre
@phothrottle6 ай бұрын
Kevin I'm running stock camber. I had a wheel alignment done just to make sure everything is good and not out to lunch. Turning the wheel lock to lock and going over bumps it doesn't rub. I did a follow up driving vlog with camera angles showing the wheels going over bumpers. Go check it out when you have time. Thanks
@KevinTim01126 ай бұрын
Thanks for that, I will go check it out, and what’s the benefit of 10j over 9.5j? I noticed you still go for 265 tyres. Is it because it has a chance to fit 275 to 295 later?
@phothrottle6 ай бұрын
It's just wider. And you can stretch the sidewall a bit more so increased stability. You can go a wider tire but it would really depend on your setup meaning how lower your suspension, how much camber etc....
