Native Savannahian here! I giggled when you mentioned out to-go cups. We elect our Mayors based off their stance on that rule. Ha! Kidding, but only slightly ;) Glad you enjoyed out city. There is SO much to do and see! Tybee Island has a great campground should you want to return and stay at the beach. It's called Rivers End and it's on the North end of the island. You can easily get around the whole island on bicycles (it's 3 miles long if I'm not mistaken). There's a lighthouse, a great little theatre called the Tybee Post, a science museum, pier, great restaurants, shops, etc.

Awww Mrs. Wilkes,I remember her well.I thought it was the best thing about Savannah. I lived in the Historic District in the 80's and all of the 90's as a young man. The big secret was you could go the small kitchen in back and the cooks would fill up a big styrofoam container with anything you wanted. It cost $7.00 and I think we called it a plate, but that container would weigh 5 or 6 pounds. Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, any Southern homestyle comfort food you could think of. I remember eating for days from one of those plates. Your video brought me back, you did a nice job with it.

The historic district is one of the largest in the southeast. Forsyth park is also considered part of the historic district of Savannah. You need more than a day for the Savannah area. Isle of Hope is literally minutes from from Skidaway Island where you stayed and is well worth a visit! It is a real life step back in time place.

Me and my friend used to go there on walks during the summer, an absolutely beautiful spot for nature just make sure you wear long sleeves those ticks don't mess around. Hi! I love your videos. I'm from Rome and I wanna visit the best historical cities like Savannah. Any suggestion? Maybe i'll move there. Looking for something charming and cultural ( music, creative people, sustainble cost of living, warm people, nice weather). They told me Georgia is too much humid and the cost of living is increasing. Bugs problems and Old cities like Savannah are too small for a 30 yold person ... hugs from Rome.

Do you drive it anywhere you like to go or do you Uber, etc… I see that you usually stay at camp grounds or state parks… so do you park your camper and either walk/Uber to places and just come back at the end of the day or do you bring your camper with you to explore? Can small class c RV park just about anywhere? Hahahaha sorry for these questions… I just need to know about movability before and you seem to have to much experience on this 😊 thank you so much!!!! ❤️
