I have to think that inside line is more about defensive driving habit rather than speed because of how easy it is to divebomb someone there and then understeer at their expense.

Hey Nick, not at all about being defensive. There isn't really much of a brake zone here so not an ideal overtaking spot. The inside line is faster. There is more grip in there and a little bit more camber.
