Every person that starts polymer clay, should watch this perfect tutorial! I only had 3 books when I first started. I’m not sure if KZbin was even a thing then. Well done and thank you.

I'm so happy that I found your channel. Watching you handling the clay is so much better than reading about how to do it.

@@myclayco agreed, this channel alone has saved me from multiple headaches lol
Thanks for sharing these tips, they're super helpful. Would the clay softener work on clay that has been baked? I'm just starting out and have a lot of practice pieces and hate the idea of just throwing them away.
@myclayco3 ай бұрын
It doesn’t work on baked clay unfortunately 😔 you can use your already baked clay in a few other ways though, I have seen people cut it up and use it in a mosaic kind of way, and I’ve also seen people grate it onto unbaked clay to make a kind of sprinkled effect!

Hello! For conditioning the clay, what setting should I use on my pasta machine? ✨
@myclayco4 ай бұрын
Hi there! We normally start on the thickest setting and work our way down until it gets to the thickness we’re after 😊 if you’re using an Atlas we normally roll on 0 a few times then move down to 1, and sometimes 2 😊

I have been finding that baby wipes often leave a lot of lint... I have been looking for some that don't...a brand or type?

Oh really? How frustrating! Where are you located? We are in Australia and use multiple brands including Huggies, Mamia, Cub, Curash and Little Ones 😊

How long does it take for shipping in united states?

It took 6 days for my order to arrive here in California!

I would say normally a week on average but it’s best to allow 1-2 weeks 🥰 6 days, Alicia! That’s great feedback, we’re so glad it arrived quickly ☺️

Does polymer clay ever get too old to be able to use? Or does your first tip take care of really old? What is the best way to store clay?
@myclayco4 ай бұрын
So long as it’s stored correctly it should be ok 😊 I have polymer clay 5+ years old that’s still fine and I’ve heard of people having 10+ year old clay that’s still ok. Just make sure your clay is stored in a cool, dark place, particularly if you won’t be using it for a while!
