Note: I usually choose the Calamansi fruit that is slightly ripe to make this drink, we can tell by the thinner skin that is more more orangey green. If we use dark green calamansi, the skin will be thicker, making the drink slightly bitter.

Calamari juice is still the single most tasty and refreshing thing I have ever tasted I had it on its own with nothing but ice fresh off the boat when I got to Thailand and I’ve been drinking it ever since can be really expensive to get them shopped for my juicer but absolutely worth it

Hi, I visited Singapore and loved this simple drink. I was wondering if I can substitute limes in place of calamansi? I live in Orlando, Florida and have not seen calamansi anywhere.

@turtlechomper5361. Yes you can use lime juice only as the lime skin is very bitter. Sometime I just mix lime juice with sour plum and hot water as a home remedy for cough. It works and very soothing to the throat. Enjoy 😀😀

Yes I tried but cannot get CALAMANSI in Adelaide so used my in-house lemons ( peeled the skin and made) close to back home Assam Boi/ Calamansi drink😅👌😊😋
