Here in philippines, calamansi is like an all around fruit. You can use it to marinate meats, you make it juice, you can top it with different dishes, you can mix it for dipping sauce or you can mix it with gin or any alchoholic drink. Everyone herr loves calamansi especially kids

When I was stationed in Pensacola, FL, we had a Calamondin tree in our backyard. I used to make this fresh when they were in season. I also used it in cooking, especially pork dishes, and I even got used to eating them straight like an orange. They are really good.

To answer that dude's question whether people mix alcohol with calamansi, the answer is yes :) the town i used to live in, we had this drink called 147 which is gin, sprite and calamansi :) some people go hard core and just squeeze fresh calamnsi on their gin..
