@2:40 Option 3 was the Amplifier. I deduced it because there was no room sound. However, the qualities of each one sound very similar, particularly the pedal and the plugin. Any differences aren't enought to make a difference, in my opinion, and are consistent with differences between individual amps of the same model. Thanks for making this video! It was just what we needed for these specific products. What a time to be a guitarist.

The real amplifier was very easy to guess because I'm very used to the UAFX's room reverb, lol... And I also got it right between the pedal and the plugin, but I could have been wrong... maybe it was a luck guess.

Nice Master Perf. For me they all seem to sound very identical with the exception of the Friedman Plex which I felt and heard just has a little bit more breath that the other 2 seem to be missing. By the time you played through the Plex I immediately liked it a little bit better than the first two. I love tube amps, but the new generation plugin and pedal is extremely close to replicating the actual sound in my humble opinion. Thanks Master Perf for this sweet comparison

Having the ruby pedal from UA hearing now the the plugin versions of the pedals here sounds pretty good and def can hear the Marshall in there.

@henriksorensen6438 that would depend on you audio interface buffer settings and how fast your computer is. The way Henning had it, I couldn’t tell he was switching between them

Does anyone know what kind of cab or cab IR/sim is being used with the Friedman amp? Seems like it would be important to know that for this comparison.

I guessed right. There are just some harmonics that tube amps do that modelers don't.

Amp was last. All sounded great but the first two sounded similar which would make me think they are essentially the same code etc

I did like No.2 (the Pedal) the most. To my hearing, No1 (the Plugin) has some artificial overtones that I didn’t hear in the pedal. (But that could be just me)

A tube amp through monitors? Never! You should use a 2x12 cab with greenbacks for the Friedman.

Please make shure, that one cannot hear the acoustic Guitar sound in Electric Guitar videos, this is irretating. By the way, I was right with the real Amp.

The mic audio during the playing samples was cut and edited out before syncing to video so I’m not sure what acoustic sound you’re hearing

If the plugin uses the same algorithm as the pedal, why couldn't you bump up the sample rate and audio bit-depth on the Mac to get significantly better sound than the pedal? What sample rate and bit-depth does the pedal use? I can't imagine it is even close to what a decent Mac/interface could produce.

Main consideration should be how it FEELS to play. Because sounds are so close
