The Perfect Fifty-five was an affordable, entry-level camera that was made in Chicago through most of the 1940s. These cameras has exceptional functionality and great lenses for the cost. Today, still, they are often generally reliable and usable cameras that can take photos with any 35mm film on the market owing to their exceptional shutter speed range. This video covers all of the camera's functionality such as changing lenses, loading film, and taking photos and explains how to use the camera.

I have a perfex deluxe with the same lens, it should be a 38mm screw-mount that comes off the camera between the focus ring and the other silver ring just above it. Hold the focus ring still, grip the entire lens, and turn counter-clockwise.

Uh oh, looks like you removed the entire focus ring mechanism with the lens :,) I don't believe that's the way you're supposed to do it hahaha
