Hi Neha, personally no matter what the role, I would always recommend dressing 'smart'. That way nobody will make gut feeling decisions on your choice of 'casual' clothing. Also for a customer contact assessment centre by dressing 'smart' you'll probably stand out as being more professional from the outset so you'll be a point ahead before it even starts. I went to one of these. It was fucking horrible. It was like being in pack of hyenas all fighting over a piece of meat. Fucking BRUTAL. Avoid if possible.

If you were made to feel like that, then you should contact the organisers/facilitators of the assessment centre. Good assessment centres should do their utmost to make it relaxing and co-operative so that the delegates relax and the assessors can see the best of them. Genuinely, let the organisers know how you were made to feel so that they can change their approach - they will be very grateful for the feedback.

+Rob Scott it was with Pareto law. I know a few people who have been to their assessment centres and they all said the same. Maybe it's just them. I haven't been able to really experience any others mainly because I was so put off by that experience.

Hi Liam, Genuinely I would contact them with your thoughts and feedback. They're very established in the 'graduate recruitment' field and I'm sure they will want to protect their reputation. Contact them via one of their channels on their contact page: www.pareto.co.uk/contact-us/ as I'm sure they'd want to hear what happened and see if they can make improvements for the future.

+Rob Scott I've tried leaving reviews but it's usually just met with 'you're just upset that you didn't make it through'. Which wasn't necessarily the case. I just didn't like how 'pack like' and ' vulcherous' it was. I personally just put it down to maybe I'm just not meant for sales? But it's hard to tell when many people share the same experience.
