This is a medley from Starmania....a very very popular/successful French musical opera from the 70's but to this day is recognized as a master piece. Great job Depicting all the emotions Lara portrays in this video.

I am American, in my 71 years I have listened to all types music and artists. For myself, Lara Fabian "Incantare Magnifico. (simply the best, better than all the rest. She sings a story in that most beautiful voice and I can listen all day. And no, I speak no foreign language fluently. I took Latin and am able to understand meanings of a few words; but Lara takes you there in the most lyrical and passionate way , rising above most of singers. The only other female I have ever heard do that is Toni Braxton in her early career, but alas she no longer sings in that style. So to reiterate, I have listened, loved many singers, but this woman stands hands and feet above the rest in this current time.

Lara est une extra-terrestre elle aurait pu interpréter "Starmania" à elle toute seule (tellement elle est douée en interprétation). THIS concert! En Toute Intimite. IMHO the pinnacle of her career! The whole show is really "theatre". Comme Ils Disent is stunning! Also, Celine Dion did a Starmania medley back in 1989 which included several of the show's rock numbers. Not the emotional gravitas of Lara Fabian but also good. Thanks for this GREAT reaction!

Did you take a look at the first song: "Le Monde est Stone" was done also by Cindy Lauder in English as "The World is Stone". Céline Dion has also sung it in French these songs. Dion also has sung the second song (Le Blue du Businessman - J'aurai voulu être un artiste), which has also been done in English by several artists as "Only the very best".

The song Stone has been covered by Cindy Lauper, Celine Dion covered the song Ziggy, Dimash´s SOS is from the same musical as well. The story is a very destroying and sad one. It has been the most famous french rock opera in France.

"Starmania " it's a rock opera .The story is about a waitress how want to have a better live , but can't for now ,because she have to pay her rent . But in her head she see her becomming a star a big writer . But she can't ,because she have to work at the underground cafe ,she despair , and she want to die .Because she can't du of her job at the underground cafe . At the beginning she ask to Mary-jeanne the name of the waitress .what she's looking for .

For me, the act of talking while she is singing is sacrilege! You just don't do it. Pause and talk then go back or have little notes that people can read if they want to...that's all I'm saying.
