His ability to play multiple styles of music and rhythms damn near authentically is astounding. This is a real musician and master of his craft.

I bought a Mapex Pro M kit about 12 years ago after watching Gregg play live quite a few times both in Japan and LA because back then he was playing Mapex Orion. I even took a lesson from him in 2003. Always very polite, fun, very humble, respectful, and great attitude. Thanks for sharing what you do! You're the best of the best!

Drum solos usually bore the hell out of me but watching a master like Gregg in action is breathtaking...a refreshing change from the 'bang crash wallop' merchants!!

ive been playing for 8 years and this is the first time ive ever seen someone play on the bottom head of a snare

Buddy Rich and Louie Bellson both did it in the 50's....

Long ago, when i was a beginner, i would play the bottom snare head when i broke the batter head cuz i couldn't afford to replace it. Lol! But, i did it cuz (as much as i had no money) i didn't realise you shouldn't. It soon becomes deformed, with small dents and pock marks etc. Notice how Gregg only hits it lightly, for that reason. Let me just add that Gregg nails it here, as usual. He is a stunning player, and this really made me smile, as Greggs' playing always does! Nice one... \m/ (:o)

MAESTRAZO🤗👏👏👏. Saludos desde Chile🇨🇱.

Honestly you can get almost any drums sounding good! Not long ago i applied some newer heads and retuned my brothers horrible CB Drums kit but after about an hour of tuning i made it sound playable! It's all about your tuning and having good heads! :D

Kinda old school approach to a drum solo, but, hey, is that why I paid attention for full 12 minutes? Normally after 3 or 4 minutes of "boom bang badash badash bang bang bang rrrrrrrrrrrroooaaarr badash!" I'm out. This told me a little story, I couldn't stop listening. Funny.

+paul palavecino meneses Linear 32nd notes...16th note singles w/the hands, & filling in the "up beat" 32nds w/the feet (using a double pedal). It's the best way that I can describe it. Hope it helps.
