Shop Hop Episode 1 - Performance Tackle
In this series, I go check out different tackle shops, ask them to recommend baits, rod/reel setups and a place to fish. I then go to the place that they recommend and try to catch a fish on the baits that we talk about.
In this Episode, I walk around Performance Tackle and was helped by Joe the shops manager. Looks like we are going Spotted Bay Bass Fishing, but it didn't come easy because I ran into a bunch of objections. No Worries, we still got bit!

The plan is to either move to Florida or Texas in the next 3 years. I watch so many videos of dudes fishing flats and I definitely have it on the bucket list to book a couple trips in the near near future.

Funny the secret bait was a wham…! I’ve fishing those things for 15 plus years now still have some OG Work King Blams stored away. Use to kill Halibut and Sandbass in harbor with them

Bro this was me Sat morning at Mission Bay lost 3 WB underpins and a Dirty Jig in an hour but did manage 1 15.5” spotty in the hour I fished. Today was better had 45 mins this am to fish mission bay after work before coming home to Los Alamitos and pinned 5 keepers . Can’t fish tomorrow morning but will ThurFri mission bay. Tight lines 🤙🏼

@@teefishes question for shore pounding SD,Mission,Newport, Alamitos bays would you recommend the 744 or the 733c. Mostly throwing baits 3/8 oz 95% of the time with a curado 150 DC. Thanks in advance. In June when I get a boat I will pick up a few 764’s.

@@jasonrobbins7269 if you like to roll cast and fish tight spots, the 744 is perfect. If you throw reaction baits and like a softer bend, I would go for the 733. 744 is great for docks and structure with jig hook baits 733 is a all in one rod with a soft tip to accommodate reaction baits

The last bass lure you will ever have to buy is a trout colored plastic green top , black speckles , pink middle , white on bottom. Bass love eating trout, and you will catch more bass ever when you use these rainbow trout colors.
