I like the idea of hardened steel striking surface and brass punch . In my area that brand is O'Reillys and Advanced Auto

I do like the steel striking surfaces for these brass punches. I'll keep my eyes open for them.

My small local parts house has carried PERFORMANCE TOOLs for years, He has Warrantied Everything on the spot from Performance that I have ever brought in but then I do purchase $10,000-$15,000 in parts each month & have for over 20 years.

We spend a lot with our local Auto Value and they will Warrantee any performance tool we bring to them, even if it’s a sacrificial #3 Phillips screwdriver that was bent, burnt, and broken. With that being said we know they are “cheaper” tools and don’t use them very often, but when we know that it’s going to brake yeah I’m putting a PT on it. Auto Value is down the road, Snap-on is a week away.

I can see the scenario of someone using them for their "non-sparking" ability, but hitting them with a steel hammer. For me, I wouldn't touch them.

✌ The H.F. Dead blow hammer or a rubber mallet would have went well with this review. 👍
