Hey what's up. Love the show. Got One of them and some hole cutters. They work ok but wrench only got to spin the wrench round and round kinda time consuming but usually comes out nice and the weld much better little bit I have done years ago we're I got the pipe it was only $1.00 a bend bet it's way more now I got straight 10 section of pip then they had hydrolic bender that was computer driven put the exhaust code in and 3 minutes later done. That was great

Life's too short to piddle with 'Performance Tool'... have heard more than a few stories about their warranty shortcomings.

I have 2 of these I got at at a yard sale. I tried using one once. It didn't do anything, couldn't. Maybe my exhaust pipe wall was too thick? Come back with a some pipe, prove it works.

I've heard of that happening many times people use an impact wrench with these even though I end up blowing out the threads on The Bolt. It usually takes a lot of force to make them work you're trying to step stretch the steel wall of the pipe

I did exhaust work last weekend and considered buying/renting one. From reviews I read online, Lisle is the preferred brand.

Good idea to add a hard washer in there but of course that is why you couldn’t loosen it all the way down to 1 1/2” Rockauto has these for under $20 but I agree the Lisle seems to be a better tool.

Don’t care for Performance tools. When I buy stuff like that it usually costs me more to warranty then to buy it again so any thing like that I stay away from if I can. If absolutely need if breaks throw it away. Then to go crazy over warranty. Used to years ago but getting to old to fight with big companies. All they see are dollar 💵 don’t care who they step on over. Stick to what you know can’t go to wrong. Good video. I like that there tool does not fit its advertised specs. Sounds about right. Lol. Stay safe.
