I hope you react to the other sections on this vid too. Actually during this shooting Kai was not fully recovered from his ankle injury. He's working 3 days straight,day & night. The staffs trully praises him bc of his passion & on the set he was definitely giving a 100% despite his physical condition. Even one of the staff member said he learn something just by watching kai's personality , attitude on the set. He cannot be called the idol of idols for nothing. So many people looked up for him in terms of dancing. That's why it's very hard for the other dancers(K-Pop idols) in the industry to be next on his level. I'm not even kidding .I hope you're looking forward to his solo & react to him more in the future.

hey Jeff, actually the whole Tucson Beyond Drive thingy has Kai dancing in it! they have like 8 parts, 6 of them are dancing (2 scenes with Karina, and the other 4 are Kai!), and the intro & outro. please do check the full performance too. also when you were "awwww~" ing at Kai & Karina's scenes, I felt that too >< hahhaa. thanks for reacting Jeff!

I didn't know a thing about dancing, but their chemistry is superb though. I was having the same reaction as you lol. I hope people can appreciate both Kai and Karina. I understand it was supposed to be Kai's solo and maybe SM included Karina to promote aespa, but why hate if you can love? There's not enough kindness in the world. Thank you for the video, Jeff!

I'm in agreement with you from the very beginning to the end of the vid. It was a little cheesy for me to see them perform. The storyline is a bit meh for me. But they danced well. However, kai being the gorgeous man he is, he's really robbed here off of his beautiful melanin. Bobbi Brown did justice to his beautiful skin though. Thanks for the video Jeff.

Kai’s solo parts in the ad are amazing and include ballet! looking foward to ur reaction for those 💗 I love karina and she’s amazing. I’m also looking foward to aespa’s debut and concept. But this was kai’s solo and his colaboration with Hyundai. I’m not mad at u for not reacting to the whole thing ofc, and u got the title right :) but this has been promoted, announced and shared by most as “kai and karina’s dance duet” when in reality it should have been “exo kai solo performance with Hyundai” or “kai tucson beyond drive” idk i just feel like most just watch the small duo part (starying from the head grab) and not watch anything else kai’s worked on :(

Yeah it looks like it might be the heels. They look like 1 inch? honestly, that's usually the most awkward height, flats or higher heels would have given her more balance and stability. Plus, they also had no ankle support

In terms of heels, female idols would often be seen with clear tape around their whole foot and heel. You wouldn't notice from far away, and it could be the editor just helped mask the tape as well.

I'm really anticipating aespas debut now, Karina is projected to be the the lead dancer so I'm excited for what the main dancer (expected to be Winter) will be like. My only criticism of her is that she danced quite insular and I agree it could be a discomfort/nerves thing - she's only a rookie so she has plenty of time to build her confidence and dance a bit more outwardly. Kai as usual was excellent. I was impressed to find out that he was still injured whilst preparing for this because you would never be able to tell - that's how much effort he puts in. I'm super excited for KOLO now!

You need to watch Kai solo dance parts as well 😭😭 it is too good. Go to the official Hyundai ad video, click under description, and they have sections labelled. Intro and outro is no dance so you can skip it but watch the rest 😭 This is actually a CF for Kai, so he has a whole lot more solo parts and beautiful moves... hope you watch itttttt 🥺❤️

I think your hunch is pretty accurate . I have shoes I've been jazzing in all summer...outdoors on pavement. But I had to submit an evaluation last week in same shoes but on a wood stage. Reviewed my video & was like "WHAAAAAAT!" I was chassising across the stage with my foot turned in the entire time! Even when I was training & having challenges (came with a nice watermelon size butt cramp...my friends got to hear about EVERY time I got in or out of the car!)...I'd never seen such a ridiculous thing! Anyway it was the shoes. They're permanently BANNED from the stage!"
