The points he got from the book is usually very high density and summarized. It should not be treated as a list or checkpoint, rather topics to for you to think about and develop in your life. This is what I got from watching a lot of these.

This was just incredible. What an amazing video. Love your content. You deserve more than 58k subscribers. You said that before you start a speech you only worry about controlling your breath and posture. Can you please tell me what is exact nature of breathing and posture one should maintain while giving speech.. And how much practice is ideal?
@ProductivityGame
@ProductivityGame 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Joseph, I like to nasal box breathe before a high-pressure moment (4 seconds in, 4 second hold, 4 seconds out, 4 second hold) and fix my posture by keeping my shoulders back and head up. The ideal amount of practice is enough practice that allows you to perform without thinking (enter a state of flow while speaking).

I agree with last two strategies but excitement has its adverse effects if things don't turn out as per your expectations. we need to calm down as nothing is more important than peace of mind. Which directly effects your focus & standard behavior in any circumstances

1) I can fix this with enough heavy metal. 2) Performing to lots of people is the same as performing to a few of your friends... 3) Because those people don't really matter.

Great work! Overall I would caution against portraying public speaking as a "performance" and equating it to a "rehearsal". Those who view it as a conversation and not a performance exhibit significantly less anxiety.
