Loved it. When I think "challenge", I think about growth and my potential as a result. When I think "threat", my brain starts to shut down and I can't think on my toes. This talk helps deliniate perception that results in optimal performance.

Brilliant. Adopted his "C or T?" method and already can sense its effectiveness. Thanks Tom.

Look at your performance under pressure! Why do we do this judgement, emotions, perceptions that we are creating. How our perceptions impact our performance. Steps of success Genetics Dedication practice skill confidence teamwork Realistic Understate your abilities it will set you up for success C or T? Challenge or Threat? If you think it’s a threat you’ll be scared if you look at it as a challenge you get more powerful stronger excited. 🤪 W or L Win or Lose Negative don’t think of win or lose. Choose C or T. This is for people who want notes!!!! 🤪💖😍😂😭🤤💋💫🌈🛍🌻🎄🌟🙊😏💸😎🤮😬😅😐😘🌚🌞👋🔥😮🌛😊🍗

When I think of something as a threat now I'll just think of it as a challenge, get through easier and calmly. Kind of how I usually react just without the keywords, will try this next time I get in my head though.

OMG, i just back tested a few moments where i thrived under pressure and moments where i crumbled, and I remember perceiving all my successful moments under pressure as challenges and moments of possible growth. On the contrary, I remember feeling threatened, weak, and inadequate in the times i crumbled under pressure. I was doing this C or T mind switch without actually noticing. Thank You!

Could a Threat be working under pressure 24/7. I honestly need to understand this because I keep being hard on myself. I currently work for a marketing agency as a motion graphics and graphic designer and I constantly sleep for 4 hour and working over time most of my time. Could this be a threat to my overall health or am I just complaining unnecessarily?
