All Nightwish fans know Tuomas doesn't drop the ball like that when it comes to vocals. That been said, as many people refer to the voice as an instrument, that's exactly what Tuomas had in mind for this song. As usual he quiets everything as much as possible for the verses to be heard, but because he had Troy sing the chorus by himself obviously very clear, the vocal chorus was made to fit as another instrument as opposed to individual voices. That's why Floor's voice and choirs were lowered to the level of the rest of the music. It's supposed to make one fluid sound. 😊❤️🤘🤘

Nightwish dont dissapoint "did you feel the ghost energy song" I listened to this song maybe 50 times by now, and it is one i like to listen to with my headphones or without, its really a good song, when i can do so to me. Some say Floors voice is low in the mix, and i can agree its hard to get all words she sing, but if you look at it soundwise it sounds amazing!! and after a listen or 2, you know most of lyrics, and its no problem at all, its done fully on purpose for the sound experince of it.. cant wait for rest of album!! Great reactions ladies. Another example of Nightwish's epic, thought provoking, poetic and beautiful compositions. I know some have complained about Floor's vocals being low in the mix but I think it works and there are lots of songs, including Nightiwsh songs, where I can't discern the lyrics on a first listen. A few times hearing it or reading the lyrics and then I always hear them cleanly and I still get the sonic soundscape the songwriter was going for.

Thanks for the reaction, it was a little bit chaotic :) Floors voice should not dominate, because i would be against the story - remember, we all together are the parfume of the timeless, not one character, who shines. An you stopped exactly before the best part - the break before the comet hits earth. You have to see and hear this in one go, its so amazing! The sun rises and then the comet hits.... At the end, i had the feeling, you all not really concentrated on the reaction...

Some things to think about next time you listen. It starts and ends with a drop of water. The owl is turning its head counter clockwise like going back in time. The sleeping Sperm Whale is the one that "makes" ambergis". Ambergis have been found that are many hundreds (thousens?) years old. The perfume of the timeless. Yes, do it again with subtitles.

Lots of people have said that they thought that the vocals were too low in the mix to hear the words which were being sung. They have also said that they think that this would be an awesome song played live 😁 Nightwish songs are always open to interpretation by the listener, Tuomas (the composer/keyboardist) likes it that way We are the perfume of the timeless, last sighs (orgasms?) of a million loves 😍 Apparently there will be two more music videos released from the next album before the album release date in September, so it will be interesting to see what those songs sound like, and if they alter the mix for those.
