I recently spent about $150 for samples on scent split and I learned that I really dislike lots of hyped up fragrances! I’m with you Jackie on the Rosendo Mateu No. 5! Burnt plastic for sure! Couldn’t stand Erba Pura either and I could smell it the next day on my clothes. Gross! I need to try BDK Pas Ce Soir and Gris Charnel extrait for sure and I’m hoping they make an extrait in Rouge Smoking, one of my all time favorite perfumes! Great video Jackie!❤

Orza is in the sea stars collection and I believe if I'm not mistaken the cap is covered by a starfish and it real gold ,double dipped...which I think contributes to the price 😎 I would actually like to have a bottle from this collection 😍

TT Andromeda! Smells like an expensive herbal essences. I love it. Caution: it’s a little peachy! Not listed in the notes but I think it has ISO E or cetalox. Andromeda is way better than Cassiopeia to my nose.

Hey! Love this kind of videos! In my opinion: 1. Rosendo Mateu 5 is an acquired taste and when you love it, it's fantastic 2. Pêche Cardinal to me it's too peachy (artificial one) even though I love peach. 3. I have the same opinion on Tiziana Terenzi! That musk doesn't do it for me. The only one that I love (and doesn't have that musk) is Cassiopea. Tabit is also nice but the dry down is the diluted version of Lettre de Pushkar. The latter being much better and less expensive. I can't stand Tiziana terenzi's musk note. Most of her fragrances are extremely screechy to me. BUT!! I am absolutely in love with her Delox - it's a smoother, more upscale version of Intense Cafe - back up bottles worthy! Also - what am I missing with Bonbon pop??? I have a 10 ml and tried it few times - smells like sweet dirt to me🤦‍♀️🤣

Honestly, I don’t think you’re missing anything with Bonbon Pop. It sounds like that’s just what your nose is picking up and how you interpret the scent. The patchouli is probably what’s giving you a dirt smell. Sounds like it’s not for you and that’s ok! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

RM #5: the rubbery note is the saffron, which is prominent in this fragrance, masterfully put together to be sprayed lightly and not bury your nose in your skin as it it very potent. If you spray further than you would other fragrances, the rubbery note disappears. (Pro tip)

Gris Charnel Extrait is more sensual and intense and I agree more smooth. I absolutely love it and have this one. I like the original too but the Extrait is more dense while I feel the original is more airy.

Last month I bought 2 different Atelier Des Ors fragrances(Rose Omaayde and Riviera Drive) and they're both really nice "Freshie" musk scents and I really just Love the Bottles. 🙄 The performance is not that great(3 hours) but that's true with most freshies.

I feel like this review was specifically for me. We tried a lot of the same fragrances this month. I, too, fell in love with Venom Incarnate. I NEED a full bottle! I also tried Bon Bon Pop, and Pink Me Up. I blind bought PMU and I don’t not regret it at all. I also tried Moon Glory but it was kinda funky on me. You look beautiful BTW.

Gris Charnel Extrait smells to me like something I don't want to mention, because then you can dislike it. The same awfull things that people say on Rosendo Mateu 5. To me this fragrance (RM 5) is a very beautiful amber, musc. Very sensual and it reminds me of a luxery spa with warm fluffy towels. Love it. Fiama from Tiziana T. is my favorite.

I do not like those starfish bottles either. Never have tried those and never will. Not willing to pay that kind of price. I did get a sample of Kirke during a beauty event. Took it on a weekend trip and used it and got compliments. I do like it so I did get a bottle on a super discounted price at Jomashop 😊

I’m not a huge fan of Tiziana fragrances either, but I did find success with Cassiopea. It’s a sweet and creamy tropical fruity fragrance with a more musky dry down. I recommend giving it a try.

Rosendo Mateu 5 is an acquired taste. Kinda like Lune Feline from Atelier des Ors. If you try in in the summer (which I had done) it's a complete disaster. But I have also learned to let fragrances sit to give them a chance to macerate before I truly put them on a chopping block. When I sample, I try to get a sizeable sample size as well cause I feel anything below 7ml you can't get a full wear test. I usually buy my summer frags in the winter and vice versa so that it allows them sit and settle. I also struggle with the Terenzi line - their musk is hard for me to get along with. Haven't found once I enjoy!

I’m going to give no 5 another shot. That happened with me with Italica. The first time I tried it I hated it. It smelled like burnt plastic. Now, it’s one of my favorite gourmands in my collection. I totally agree!

Venom incarnate sounds gorgeous, strawberry and keather sound right up my street! I didnt try any from that brand and so many from them sound so unique! RM no 5... Yeah the saffron is a lot. I think saffron is super tricky. To me it's done really badly in so many fragrances... But maybe I'm just not that into saffron?! 😂

If you are looking for a Tiziana Terenzi perfume you might like Al Contrario, it is a beautiful gourmand that has no musk. It is one of my favorite gourmands in my collection (I have 80+ perfumes). I consider Al Contrario a hidden gem that no one really talks about. It's not a safe blind buy so I recommend a decant (some people complain about the projection, not me, it's a beast on me). If you don't like it don't worry you won't offend me (it's so stupid when people get mad about something like that). Take care of yourself.☺

I feel the same exact way about Tiziana fragrances. None of them have worked out for me. Not like they've been bad but nothing I really like that much. I was thinking this last night too and looking into some of their more vanilla-type gourmandy-ish fragrances. Or tobacco? Maybe I will like them better? I find the Tiziana Terenzi bottles of the sea star collection very tacky and YES the price is ridiculously expensive. Therefore, I haven't added any to my collection. Speakkng of Rosendo Mateu No5, I love this fragrance and it's one of my most complimented from my collection. I need to get my hands on Pas Ce Soir extrait as I had performance issues with the OG but I do love the scent profile. ❤ Thanks Jacky for sharing your wishlist.

Pas Ce Soir Extrait sounds Amazing! The original is a like, not a love - because it's weak sauce lol ... I actually find DUA Dionysus to be a better version of PCS, even though its supposed to be a clone for Argos Triumph of Bacchus lol... I mean they're all kinda similar I guess. DUA did not clone ToB very well, but I enjoy DUAs more than both ToB & PCS. So there's that lol

Hi Jackie: Wanted you to know that once I had Venom Incarnat on my skin, I knew I had smelled something similar....it is House of Sillage Chevaux d" Or. The differences are very obvious.........roses verses leather. HOS scent has roses in it and no leather which made it smell "mature" on my skin but the leather and no roses in Venom Incarnat makes it smell very sophisticated/sultry on me. LOVE the Venom Incarnat version much much better to my nose. Just a FYI for you! :)

I tried Gris Charnel, both original & extraigt. Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference, although I never thought either one was masculine smelling. Wasn't for me. You're not alone in hating the Torinzy "starfish " bottles. They look like the face huggers from the Alien movies to me. If you are interested in his fragrance, they go to the discounter pretty quickly so there's no need to rush. The only one that I own is Ledenon Nero which is like black Afgano with whisky & I need to de clutter it because I never wear it

I thought I was the only one who didn’t like Orza. I ordered a 5ml decant assuming I was going to love it. I detested it out of the gate. (Yet I love Erba Pura.) I don’t like many TT fragrances either. Cassiopeia and Delox are lovely and I like Chiron a lot but have only tried a sample. The rest are not my jam at all.

Hi Jackie: LOVE BDK Gris Charnel Extrait.......will be trying Pas Ce Soir Extrait. Have not tried the original in either of these two scents. Venom Incarnat sounds great....will try this over Xerjoff La Capitale which has been of interest to me for some time now. Bon Bon Pop sounds like fun........will try for a sample of that one too. Thanks for the reviews.....your nose is very similar to mine it seems. Trying to work with Dama Bianca......wish I loved it more than I do.....will keep at it. Was interested in Mangonificent but my son has picked up for me in London Trouble in Paradise from Memoirs of a Perfume Collector. Happy for your reivew of Mango.....it seems to be what others are saying about it in Mangonificent thus the reason for the latter purchase. I have House of Sillage Hauts Bijioux which is a Mango blend and I like that one....my first cupcake purchase. Your reviews are very informative.......thank you so much! :)

Could only find Venom Incarnat at LuckyScent....all others were either overseas or out of stock....so I ordered a bottle. The reviews I have seen all say the same thing......stellar scent. You are right there with them so I felt the nudge and ordered one. Usually, I am not a "blind buy" customer....but once in a while I will take the challenge on. It sounds fantastic.......will keep you posted. No one has really mentioned best Season(s) to wear this but I do agree with others....wear what you want when you want. Thanks so much. :)

Yeah I’m not fond of the Tiziana Terenzi musk either which I only get in their fruit salad fragrances, except Cassiopeia which I really like. But Kirke, Andromeda, Draco, and Tabit all have this really harsh, sharp musk that distracts from everything for me. Can’t enjoy it and it may be nose-specific. I have a suspicion the sea stars have it too since they’re also predominantly fruity. Borea, Vele, Afrodite, Delox and Lince don’t have that sharp musk to me and are nice.

I don't really like tiziana terenzi fragrances either but I do like tabit.hes also the nose for v canto fragrances and I love that line.some I have are mirabelle and stricnina. 😊

I live Followed. You need to put it on the night before you plan to wear it and don’t respray to n the morning or it will be too strong

I have Terenzi fragrances and Lince is my favorite. It's a more interesting Hypnotic Poison. The other one is Vele and I just cannot get into it. IDK why, but it reminds me of childhood and playing with frogs? 😂 The third is Mirabile from V Canto also owned by Terenzi. It's creamy with a milk and minty vibe. It's pretty good but I agree about the musk. Their fragrances are just too thick for my liking and I have zero interest in getting anything else from them.

I didn’t like Venom incarnate, the leather made it too masculine. Peche cardinal is one if my favorites and Pink me up was like eh, its like a fizzy drink. Bon bon pop was a let down for me. I get no peach from it. Moon Glory is beautiful!

I love RM No. 5. I’d say give it another try……my first try i got a “rubber” note………but I don’t get that anymore. Also, get your nose on No. 6. They smell very similar to my nose w/o the rubber. You might like that one!

Tiziana Terenzi is totally overhyped especially bcs of Kirke, but ingredient quality wise they are just not the best, they care to much about all beast mode, but the notes itself are just not that good, the blend not that smooth etc; etc; Kirke with about €92; in mid Europe is perfectly priced, but their other fragrances are a joke imo.....
