The nose behind Vibrant Leather is Jérôme Epinette. He made some masterpieces like Bal d'Afrique.. Imo Vibrant Leather is a great bang for your buck fragrance (20$/120ml). The bamboo note gives it a twist and the longevity is actually also not bad.

I've owned both fragrances creed aventus and zara vibrant leather. The old aventus was fantastic the newer versions i don't feel are worth the asking price and this zara fragrance smells fantastic for the money.

I personally love dupes Let’s be honest, perfumes can be ridiculously pricey, not everybody can afford So for the people on a budget a dupe is great alternative. FYI Zara does work / collaborate with perfumers 😊

They keep coming out with perfumes that are dupes or inspired by other stuff but they’re indeed great, for example Vetiver Pamplemousse from the JM collection or some of the new stuffs that mimic DHI and BR540, but at a low price.

I think chances are those that buy Zara price point fragrances would never buy a Creed fragrance. Therefore i dont think theyre stealing business from Creed, and thus i think in this case the mimicry should be a form of flattery for Creed and their perfumers. However, im 100% against clones that are at a similar price point to the original. I think thats why screen prints of art are acceptable, as they mimic a piece but never get close to doing the original justice. But 100% respect your opinion as a perfumer Aaron and again a nice change up video to keep the content fresh❤.

They are stealing as this was a shit copy. With the money Zara had they could of employed a perfumer and created something amazing. There is no excise. They went to a chemical company and said copy this for X. And thats what you have a cheap copy that smells a really poor mans version.

Zara perfumes are notorious for poor performance, Puig in Spain makes most of the perfumes for Zara and possibly some of the aroma chemicals could be coming from Huabao International or Jiaxing Zhonghua Chemical in China, which would have cost pennies.

Honestly I’m a big fan of fragrance, I own many designer and niche. I can say I’m well versed. But I had never smelt Aventus, I’ve smelt clones such as VL Explorer, Bond no 9 and even that Mancera fragrance( sorry can’t remember the name). Then I finally smelt Aventus..... and honestly I felt like it wasn’t special. All these clones and the DNA have been replicated so much that I don’t find the real thing special. I understand when it came out it would of been ground breaking but Aventus has just been robbed of its identity.

It is for people who can;t afford creed but also don;t think intellectual property(IP) is actually property like physical property ,because by the same reason someone who is homeless should just break into someones house and make himself at home. I also can;t afford creed but I do feel it is dishonest for me to profit off of someones IP without their consent. Right now i only have AG profumo ,AG profondo and Davidoff intense.

Very interesting but i think 99,9% of all people can`t smell the aroma chemicals und they think that it`s pretty much the same perfume as Aventus. In Germany you can buy it sometimes on sale for 14,99€. For that price theres nothing to think or compare about it, when nobody get the differences when the scent is floating in the air.

I dont know if it smells like creed aventus but its now at the stage if i hear "its like creed aventus" i simply switch off. AAron I would realy like you to review Bond No 9. New York Oud. YES - there is close to zero amount of oud in it. And the price is just outrageous. But thats marketings fault, not the perfumers. So why am I recommending this for a review? Because of the smell! It has this beautiful rose, plum, safran, musk combo.. One of the best roses I have ever smelled. Its sexy, sensual.. and is so strong.. 4 sprays could choke a room. Lasts 12h+ on my skin easily. Its unisex, and even though I feel its leaning feminine I just cant stop adoring it!

First fragrance i ever bought myself and got great amount pf compliments didnt even know it was a Creed Aventus clone. In regards to longevity It’s not great in summer but does pretty decent if you spray a-lot. Great in winter. The sillage was decent for me not too much and too little nice for a casual every day scent. If you don’t want to smell like Creed or Dior all day xd.

My work colleague wears this and all the women in his department love it. It really performs on him and I'm wearing real Creed Aventus and it does not perform as well as this. It really annoyed me lol agree theres no skill in this from Zara but its great for a grab and go. I'd love it if you reviewed a fragrance they did called gourmand leather. It's like Ultramale with added leather and iris. Enjoyed the review mate.

It's really weird but on my skin I don't get the 'clone of Aventus' vibe. I get that electric smell tho 😄. This is just much more leathery and there is no pineapple at all. My work is available at Maxaroma! Been shipping out to you guys for a few months. For a date. Boss Bastard. Ozone both are really delicious. Sexy I would go for one of my Ouds. For sweetness Oxytocin or Onyx. For classy Tobacco, Oud and Vanilla or Oud. Oud can be worn under any of my ouds to increase the Oud and make anything smell expensive. If I was on a date Would layer Oud first then go over with Oxyx or Oxytocin .

What are you talking about? Aventus is not long lasting at all. I’ve bought two bottles and it was depressing how something that smell good didn’t last at all. Zara vibrant leather smells really similar and it lasts as much as regular aventus. Only people who don’t mind spending $450 for a 3-4 hour lasting aventus would still buy it. If this was a blind testing you wouldn’t say anything bad about the Zara fragance 😂

Aventus is very poor nowadays. I wanted something that does something similar. I finally replaced It with Morning Chess by Vilhelm Parfümerie. Also very pricy but it is a much better fragrance. I bet you would like it.

Aventue is fine…people have just become noseblind to it/are buying fakes because they don’t want to spend the money from reputable sources. Take a few weeks or a month off from it then come back to it.

Of course they need a perfumer to recreate Aventus at a lower cost. It's no easy task. Mont Blanc did the same with Explorer. Both are legit companies, so of course they went to the big fragrance houses, who have all the incentive to deliver what these businesses want. Aaron seem to be out of touch with the mainstream fragrance world sometimes.
