Thx for a honest review! I love the way You express Your insights ;) I have had TTArtisan 25/2 .. seems like this Pergear 25/1.7 has almost the same optical formula, like TTArtisan. At least when it comes to rendering :) But TTArtisan has beautiful flare - not that ugly like in Pergear. TTArtisan 25/2 has also almost the same price, it's all metal and I find focusing with it super easy (even wide open) - because TTArtisan 25/2 has more focus throw. If You haven't - I do recommend You to try it ;) You would not regret it ;) TTArtisan 25/2 has plenty of character, very pleasing rendering, it produces beautiful flare, and it become very sharp once You stop it down. I'm surprised, that TTArtisan 25/2 gathers not so much attention among photographers..

@@fotokozlowski thanks fotmyoie comment 😁 Alot of people keep mentioning the TtArtisan 25 I think I will pick one up eventually. I think it slightly larger than the Peargear?

@@Kim_Alexander hard to tell.. I've never had Pergear in my hand, but after watching images/video in the interner, I would say they are very similar in size. Both are super light and compact lenses anyways ;)

Have you had the opportunity to compare it to the TT artisan 25mm f2? Thanks.

@@muatao9943 I haven't tried that ttArtisan yet. I have tried the 50mm though for Sony that one was nice. At the moment I want to find a wide angle cheep manual tiny lens mainly to use with zone focus around 14-18 would be great

@@Kim_Alexander Thank you for the reply. I too have considered that focal range. I would like to approximate the Q2 experience on my XT1...28MM field of view. I'm currently using the TTARTISSN 25mm f2. It's quite good for the price. 😄

@@muatao9943 I had Alot of fun with that field of view with the fuji x30. The almost non existing field of view created some interesting possibilities. I have a fuji 16mm f2. 8 though. But zone focus is not quite the same on a focus på wire lens
